Easy booking, easy check-in. Practice facilities nicely maintained. Pretty busy as expected on late Sunday Morning.

Course maintained very well. Pace of play very slow, need rangers to move some along.

Hadn't played Springfield in 11 years and was happy to go back for $47 hot deal. Course was in great shape..greens, fairways, everything...DEFINITELY worth that !

Great shape, fast greens, and, as advertised, a difficult track from the blue tees.

This used to be my home course, but I have sinced moved. The course was good/great shape. The fairways were a bit shaggy and that might be due to the heavy rains the day before. Besides that the course was in tip top shape. My son and I played on Saturday afternoon at 4:30 and were able to get in 18. We had a great time.

Couple of suggestions: the Junior Rate or Kid policy is not very friendly 11 year old should be free as it promotes Golf not $40. It is $15 to walk but in the summer much too hot. Besides I'm riding. Secondly u cannot book a single on line so you cannot get the web discount. Even if there were a twosome or threesome it will not allow you. Losing money!! Other courses in area Edgewater, Coblestone Park allow to book singles and kids are free!!

Course in excellent condition, pace was good, 110 degree heat factor zapped energy.

Played from the back tees. Course gives you all you want. Not a driver wedge course. Be ready to use all your clubs.

I played the course for the first time with a friend and was paired with someone else . We played in three and a half hours and had a great time. The course has tree lined fairways and mini verda greens and rolled around a 10. The course had great character and was a great value on golfnow. My friend even made the comment that we needed to add it to the rotation of golf courses that we play.

First time playing this course and I loved it. The German sounding gentleman in the golf shop was the best as were the ladies in the snack bar!

I played earlier in the year and felt like the course was in a little better shape at that time. Not bad and didn't really negatively impact play, but the course was not as lush and green, a few spots on fairways or greens that had lost some of the grass. It is the middle of the summer and I mainly noticed it as I had played earlier this year. Also, hole locations were pretty tough. I think they had a tournament or something the day before, but a lot of holes cut on slopes or on break lines. Either way, can't complain too much about a beautiful Sunday on the golf course.

We booked our tee time via the phone and when we came in we were asked "Did they tell you about the greens?" No, they had not and we informed him of that and we were told that the greens had just been aerated. We didn't really have much of a choice to go anywhere else at that point and figured how bad could it be. It was incredible, there was a thick layer of sand on every green. It was like putting in a sandbox, it was ridiculous. The course should not have even been open they were so bad. I would avoid this golf course for at least 1-2 weeks. That is how long it is going to take for those greens to come back. As for our discounted rate, it was $45 too much.

I've played Springfield many times. Course was in as good as shape as ever, one of the nicer public courses in CLT area in my opinion. Fairways great, greens, great. One or two bad patches in the fairways or green-side on one or two holes, but nothing significant. Will definitely play again this year!
