Not in great shape
Very friendly and attentive staff, but course was not in the best shape. Greens were fine, but tiny and a little slow. Probably will not play this course again.
Enjoyable round
This is the first time I've played this course and can say this is not for beginners. Water and bunkers will determine the safe landing zone on about 50% of the long holes. The greens have been protected by some challenging sand traps. The weather has been dry but the course was in good shape. All in all, a very enjoyable round.
Enjoyable round of golf
There wasn't a dead spot on any one of the greens. If you landed it on the green you had a chance to sink the putt. The rest of the course was good/dry realizing the dry winter. I will play here again when I'm back.
Nice course
has 3 9 hole courses, greens were in great shape fairways better than previous play at this course We played the oaks and Palms courses beautiful Florida sunshine but was a bit windy
Sad course and indifferent employees
Tired layout, unpleasant help (female employee) in pro shop. Greens were good but rest of course is shabby. The layout is boring, with one hole the same as the next. Would not recommend.
Course speed !
We liked the course. It was a good quick round.

Very Surprising
I wasn't expecting much when I booked this course but was pleasantly surprised to find excellent conditions in fairways thru the greens. We'll definitely play again!
good value
Good layout and course value for the money. The greens were a little shaggy but typical for this price I guess. Was an enjoyable round and we got out early and done in good time.
Driving range
The driving range used to have complimentary balls to warm up with, not any more! They could still hand you 15-20 balls to take to the range if you wanted and still offer that perk! I paid $7 to hit some plus, I kept a few balls to use after the round but was told it was closed to members only from 4-5:00 and closed after that. There was not one person on the range and the starter wouldn't let me use it. Customer service is slipping here since I first started going there several years ago. Add the range price to their rate if you want to warm up at all!
Sandpiper golf course, Sun City Center FL
The course is challenging enough for the average golfer and well maintained.
Value for the money
Course is in okay shape, bad lies most of the time in the fairways, sand traps are inconsistent. I guest you get what you pay for.
Greens
The greens on Sandpiper are as good as any private, highly rated golf course.
Worst course in Florida
This is a garbage track-not worth playing. Terrible playing g surface Terrible greens. Boring layout with poor maintenance. No playable surfaces around the greens. Two pars 3s at less than 80 yards. Mounds And drop offs at every fairway. This course isNot worth ANY Price. It is a waste of space and the locals give it glowing reviews. Ecausethey live on the course and want to keep
House values up. This course is one of the worst I Have ever played Don t be fooled stay away
Great value
Management has brought the course back. The greens are now in great shape. It's a challenging course. All the staff is friendly.
Good golf day
Course was in great condition
We had a threesome. And there was not 1 hole that had a back up- No delays
85 degrees high and good breezes
Good twilight value
We booked the first twilight tee time, 2.00pm. Pace of play was excellent, finishing well before sunset. The greens had been fertilized so we're slow, but generally in good condition. Fairways were rough in places, but that has been a common theme on all the courses we have played in Florida this month. We would happily return if we were not leaving the area today.
