About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Great Course
Have only played this course twice but will definitely be playing it more. Very nice layout that was challenging but not too hard. Staff is friendly. Greens rolled well.
Fun layout but
why not give each cart some sand to repair divots.. Each for course maintenance
Rough can be brutal.. left of 18 ..
Really fun course
Great course
This course is in great condition. It always has been, they have changed the old front nine to the back nine. Pace of play was on point. It cost about $60 to play Saturday morning which now is the standard price for golf around here.
Decent course
A pretty course that is somewhat pricey.
A shorter course than average that I consider a little too expensive for the experience.

Always enjoy
One of our favorite courses, always in good shape. My understanding they’re renovating greens next year, not sure why, greens some of the better ones we play. Wished they had a course marshal to manage tee times & slower play. Only time we play is using a deal time or % off rates. Suggest senior, afternoon & foursome deals
Solid course
Conditions were the best part about the Chimneys. Fairways were flush and greens were smooth. Bunkers could use some work but it rained some that morning. The clubhouse and carts were very nice. Range has many flags at different distances to aim at but if wet it is very muddy.
The design is somewhat unique with many short par 4s on the front 9 and a much longer back 9. Feature hole is the par 3 11th.
Worst part about my visit was the pace of play and inconsideration from other players. 2 slow foursomes would not let me play through as a solo and no marshall/ranger to make them play any faster.
Slow Play
Don’t plan on booking the 7am tee time and getting a quick round in. Course practice is to let 1-2 groups of staff and friends tee of before you.
Chipping class
I played yesterday, and that chipping lesson that Ryan did helped out tremendously! I drained a chip from the fringe and got a few others really close. ROI!
Great Pace of Play
Loved the course. Had a great time. If there had been anything that resembled a 19th hole I would make this my go to course. No bar or grill to return to after the round.
