The Chimneys Golf Course
About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Not a long course but fun and terrific condition.
Great little track at the foothills of the Appalachians. Greens are always great. The Blues are the longest 6K yards I've ever played.
My only concern is there often seem to be players that drop in on hole 10 and slow play. Not terribly but annoying nonetheless.
$100+?????
Management must have lost their minds. It’s a fun little rural course. Better option than the Pines in Winder, but anything over $50 is a stretch. Y’all come to Gainesville and play much better courses that never charge over $65 for a round.
Greens still recovering from aeration.
Like course. Senior friendly. Greens need to heal more from aeration 3+ weeks ago. More sand and water necessary?
Two Brothers
Good course. Half way between where we live. Nice course, good carts, non stress pace
Switch Aroney
This is Fun and Enjoyable Course for a level player.
It is even better now that they have switched the starting hole.
Great course
This is becoming one of my favorite courses in the area. Not too difficult and the pace of play is usually good.
Surprising!
I played this course approximately two years ago and was pleasantly surprised. I believe it is owned by the county, but is much like a resort course. Greens are super and of course, the Bermuda is dormant now, . but super great course!
great course/challenging greens
Not particularly long, but the very slick greens were tough! Course is in great shape for the winter. Secluded feel with no houses visible.
