Painfully Slow, needs manicuring, no Beverage cart.
Have played this course a lot over the years. Seems like every year it takes a step backwards. Such a shame as the course at one time was pretty nice. I think all they care about now is geens fees and tournaments. This time of year with brown fairways and not so green greens, tough to pay 65 bucks a person. Thankfully I had a coupon. Took just over 5 hrs to play. No Beverage Cart ever came around at any time on a packed course on a Saturday. Woodmont is just up the street and such a better value.
Overall would Play here again
The course was challenging, especially the greens, I think they over painted the greens which made it difficult to read them, they also had every pin location on a hill which made downhill putts impossible. I would highly recommend them talking batter care of the tee boxes, they were horrible- uneven and many were just dirt. The hilly terrain makes it a challenging course but overall fun to play if you don't care about putting.
Hidden gem
Bradshaw Farms is one of the best courses around the area. This is my home course and I love all of the courses. The putting green here is HUGE and the driving range is OK. The clubhouse is designed like a barn and really has a great bar and grill overlooking the course. The course itself is great all of the 3 courses are different. The red course has gently rolling hills and the fastest greens with lots of forced carries. The pin positions are always rough and the holes are pretty long my favorite hole on the Red is the par 3, 8th. 9 is a tough challenging hole. The blue course is the weakest of the three but they have a good finishing stretch of 7,8,9. 7 is the longest par 3 on the facility. And the white course is my favorite course and is in the woods 4 is my favorite but all holes are strong. The fairways are lush and the 7th hole par 5 is great. Overall this is a great course.
Challenging Course
We played the Red and the White courses. The greens were extremely fast and difficult to read. The course is in excellent shape for this time of year. I would recommend this course to anyone.
27 holes of challenge.
If you can play all 27 it's good variety.
They have Red course. White course and Blue Course. I'd say red is hardest and Blue is easiest. Blue is mostly flat but plenty of water hazards. Red is hilly. Greens are very fast. You can lose a put off the green on downhill puts.
No sand in the bunkers. Slow start.
Great course, great greens, terrible bunkers. Showed up on time and had to wait almost 30 minutes to tee off. Three groups ahead of us, waiting on the tee box at our tee time. How do you get behind on the first tee? Very frustrating.
Fun Time
First time I played this course (Red and White) nines. Both nines are very challenging but we're fair since they were not overly long. Fairways were short and very dry due to the lack of rain. The greens were fast but were in great shape. Some of the best I played on this year. Got a great hot deal and will be back to play again.
Players club is a great deal.
This course is great. I love this course a lot and have spent a lot of time here over the year. The parking lot is always full this course is making a killing. The courses clubhouse is designed like a barn and the employees are always great. The putting green is amazing but range isn't the best but is good. The players club is a fantastic deal and the course is always challenging and fun. The 3rd is my favorite. This is truly a great 27 hole facility.
Great course
Great course, friendly staff and golfers.
Good Fun
This golf course tests your ability to play spot golf. Course knowledge helps make the round more enjoyable.
Slow play
Great course, but we had to wait to tee off and almost every shot after that. They have 27 holes, but usually let it get crowded on 18 before spreading things out. This is not the first time this has happened. On the approach to the 9th green the marshal drove up and asked us not to hurry, but we have maintaince people waiting to work on this 9. We were within 2/3 shots of finishing the front 9! The back 9 (white) was slower. I like the course, but this is the reason I don't play here often. Always overbooked and they don't utilize the blue course often.
Bradshaw Farms
This was my first time playing the course. It was a little challenging to know where to hit on some holes without a course layout on card. The course was well maintained and we played at a very good pace all day.
Nice Value
I'm newly arrived in Georgia and looking for high quality courses to play and this one certainly fit the bill. Three different nine hole layouts all challenging with some nice scenic holes. Course was in excellent shape from tee to green. Greens were smooth and fast, ideal. I'm a ten handicap and found the blue tees a really good challenge.
Aerated Greens
When I saw the deals on Golfnow, I thought it was a great deal. We got there and the greens were being aerated with no warning. It sucked because it was evening and didn't have time to go anywhere else. We talked to one of the managers and he shook his head and said, "yep". That was it. It was a hot day. The course had water holes with no water. When I got to the pro shop a Gatorade cost $3.17. That's ridiculous. Usually a great and challenging golf course. I understand that aeration is a necessity, just like to have warning. No water and extreme cost for drinks.
