Lots of water
I would rate Bradshaw Farms a 3 only, not a 3.5. There was no greeter, you had to get your own cart, there was no marshall even to hurry up players, and the wait got ridiculous. They have 3 nine hole courses, so there is really no excuse for slow play. The course was challenging as far as water, many water holes and creeks. A couple of nice elevated tees. We saw a hawk and a crane, so nice wildlife. But the clubhouse only had a snack bar, so not quite the level of a country club. The cart girl didn't have much of anything, no sandwiches, no water, no diet coke. Lots of beer that she couldn't serve until 12:30pm on a Sunday. They are understaffed and need a cart attendant and marshall. Still a good deal at the Golf Now rate.
Fun yet challenging course.
The course is fun to play, not extremely difficult but with a few challenging holes. The course would have received a higher rating but the greens had been recently punched and were impossible to putt on. All in all a good day of golf.
Bradshaw Farm
I have played this course a couple of times in the past months. The course is in pretty good shape, the greens were just aerated so give it some time.
Great course
The course is phenomenal, but the pace was slow for a Monday. 5 hour round 10:30 tee time.
Bright and Early at Bradshaw Farms
A friend and I got up very early to make our 5:45 tee time. We quickly figured out that nobody was in the clubhouse. We found out later that the person in the clubhouse doesn't arrive till 6:15. Not sure why they offer earlier tee times. Anyway the golf was fun. The greens were some of the best I have played on this year, and the rest of the course was in good shape too.
Need better scheduling
Course was in over all good shape. Fairways were good. Greens are hard as a rock, rolling really fast too. Odd pin placements made things really challenging. Bunkers look terrible, hardly any sand. Great bang for your buck though. Worst part was the back up on the first tee! Over 15 min delay! no excuse when a course has 27 holes. Not the first time that has happened here either.
Great Course in Great Shape
Bradshaw is one of my favoeite courses to play around the North Atlanta Area. Some tee boxes need some work but fairways and greens are great. Greens are rolling fast best I have seen it in the past 3 years.
A good day of golf
We played Red and White. Each 9 holes are very different in style of golf. The coarse is very well kept and was in excellent condition.
An Excellent Day
For early/mid-April. the course was in good condition. In fact, the Greens were excellent. The staff works very hard to keep this course in prime condition. About, the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Pace of play was fine. Nota single delay on a mid April sunny Saturday afternoon.
The tee boxes are laid out so that golfers of all levels can enjoy the course or be as challenged as they wish. No 1 is really scenic and with the elevated tee, you think you can hit for miles. No. 7, over a pond, illustrates the different tees for different levels of skill. Fairways for the most part are flat, wide and forgiving. Par 3's are lots of fun. The first Par 5, Hole No. 3 seems like it goes on forever.
While I have played a few more scenic courses, none as accommodating both play and service. A good value and a good time. Enjoy!!
Easter golf
Nice course that makes you think about your shot making
Nice Greens
Played on 3/21 and overall not too bad. I got a hot deal for 35. Definitely not worth paying full price to play this course now. Fairways are pretty bad. Tight lies everywhere due to the fact they're all dead. To be expected to an extent this time of year though I guess. The greens were in good shape though. A little slow, but in good shape. The driving range is embarrassing. It's like hitting into a landfill. Overall worth 35-40 bucks to play. Definitely wouldn't pay more than that to play here.
Bradshaw weekends
In all honesty I love this course! The staff is great, the course is fun, and it's usually a great pace of play. However this weekend is the second time I feel they over booked. It took us 3 1/2 hrs to get through 9 holes. We actually didn't even finish all 18. At 4 1/2 hours in we only made it to the 11th hole. I would recommend calling the club house to before purchasing tickets to see what there schedule looks like. The staff even admitted to having 200 players on Sunday and every 9 ( which they have 3 courses) was on a 10-15 backup just to tee off. We had a four some, and there where 6 other 4 some behind us waiting to tee off.
Overall great course, be cautions on the weekends and call first. They sometimes take more than they can handle.
Quick greens great layout
The greens rolled true and were quite fast. I love the layout of the course. Played from the blue tees and required a wide variety of shots from the tee. Not a bomb and gouge course. Many holes require irons and woods off tee.
Bradshaw is always a treat
Enjoy the true rolling champions greens; They are in fantastic shape. Fairways are in really good shape for this time of year. Three nines that are always fun to play.
