It looked good from my POV
The fairways looked like they were in great shape from what I could see from the rough and the trees. I didn't walk on them much. And the rough, I will say, was decidedly lush -- easily ankle-deep in many, many places. I visited many bunkers, and found them all to be supremely challenging. The greens were in great shape and rolled true -- I can say that confidently as I had many opportunities to putt the full length of a green. I do hope the scorecard was compostable.
Walkers made it so slow
Walkers were 2 groups in front of us and without a Marshall riding around the round took 4 hours and 50 minutes. They would not let anyone pass.

Slowest pace of play ever
Eagle Ridge does not have a starter so pace of play is slow. I saw many singles playing on their own instead of being grouped with others that had the same tee time. I even saw a group of 9 playing a few holes behind me. It took me 5 hours to play because we were always waiting for the groups in front of us.

Greens were a little bumpy from aeration. Also, some greens seemed to have some damage- hopefully they will heal. Otherwise the course is great value and fun to play.

Much Improved
Played ER 2 months ago, the fairways are filled in nicely. Greens need another week to recover from aeration. Only negative, the sand traps have a lot of gravel bits in them.
Overall, a good day on a nice course.

Not worth $70
I did not get a military discount even though I am RA. I even showed them my CAC. Second, the starter kept pushing us to tee off early. We showed up 10 minutes prior to our tee time to hit a few putts and he kept insisting we tee off. Lastly, the course was not in great shape. The greens were aerated and the fairways and tee boxes were poor. Not worth the money at all. Find somewhere else to play.
