Better than reviewed

No idea why this course has been rated at a 3.5 stars, it's WAY nicer than most. I've played a lot of the courses in the Charlotte/Fort Mill area and this course is definitely up there in terms of quality to cost ratio and is generally just a really fun layout. The practice facilities are great, good range and a comprehensive short game area; heck Queens College seems to use this course as their practice course. No idea where the hate comes from, if people think $40-60 is too pricey then they have no clue what the cost of the area normally looks like. Go play it, course is awesome.

Nice course, a little pricey

It is a good course with a good layout but the price is a bit high, and I didn't pay full price. It is a course that we play a few times a year because there are better deals out there which can be important when you are playing a couple of times a week. I still recommend playing the course.

Gary’s Review

Had heard about the course and finally had a day I could play there, and was not disappointed! Course was in great shape, the greens are excellent and rolled very true and bunkers were in great condition. A challenge from any tees you’d opt to play, the yardage book I purchased proved very valuable. I’ll most definitely go back and play it again!

Course is just ok

My biggest complaints for this course is they have been charging premium rates in which the greens are below average at best. I don’t care what you see from other posts, but nearly every green has bad spots, tons of ball marks, so don’t expect your ball to roll smoothly to the hole, unless you luck out and find a good spot in the green.

My other complaint is that the course crams people on the course, sending players off both the front and back nines At the same time. We went off at 7:30, and played with no one in front of us, until we made the turn, and because they continue to start people on the back, we now had to wait on every hole and sometimes every shot on the back nine. Just a terrible way to manage the course, and the marshal did not seem to do anything to ensure the groups are moving at a good pace.

This course will always be a last resort, when I’m desperate to play.

Course getting better

Course went through a really rough time during the summer of 2022 but is coming back. Greens have some poa creeping into them but altogether in decent shape.

Shaggy Greens

Fairways were softer than normal, greens were definitely slower than normal, shaggy like a pool table.
