Pines at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Don't Waste Your Time
They are loosing every single green. Fairways are fair, at best. There is not one foot of cart path that isn't broken up, lots of litter. is very bleak as the homes and other buildings on the course are in disrepair. Staff was not super friendly, gave minimal information, especially knowing it was our first time. Cart they provided was filthy!!
There are far better courses in the Fort Lauderdale/Deston area to choose for that kind of money.
Wet but fun
Wet day but we managed to get all 18 in right at dark ! Course is always maintained and fun to play . Staff is accommodating as usual !!
Great Value for the $
A pretty god course overall. Greens were in pretty good shape, but quite fast. Nice staff, relatively decent challenge and a fun and overall good layout for a course. I’ve played here several times and it’s one of the main ones I would frequent as it was also close to where I lived.
Great golf corse. Condition good. Bunkers very good. Be better if they had rakes. Greens very good.
On the decline
Greens were the high point of this course over the years. They are now patched, sanded and riddled with ball marks. Other courses for less money in better condition.
Returning player
I was able to get an early time and played in 3 hours. Greens were good as were the fairways. The rough and tee boxes need some love.
I like Cypress, Pines also needs some attention.
Terrible greens
What a shame. They have let the greens go recently. This used to be a great course but now the greens are in absolute terrible shape. The first 3 or 4 greens are the worst I have ever played. Currently not worth what they are charging! I hope they can fix them soon.
