Pines at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Course is in bad shape lots of weeds and greens are in the worst condition. Going down hill since I played 2 months ago!
Woodmont
This is one of the better courses in Broward County. It’s always in good shape and fun to play.
Great course, my go to in the area.
I love this course, my only complaint is there is no driving range, they do have hitting bays where you can warm up though. Overall this is my favorite course nearby. Greens are in good shape a roll true, fairways are nice as well. Tee boxes are good for the most part.
Nice course and good value for money!
Nice course which has been well maintained and very enjoyable despite the mixed weather.
Great course!
Greats place for a round of golf and the amenities are great. The putting greens needs some TLC but the course is in great shape.
Pretty solid golf course.
I would like to start with saying that Rick (pro shop “master”) was an absolute pleasure to talk to and see his smile was great (you don’t see that a lot lately at the many business places).
Positive first. Offseason tee times are easy to find. Were not too many people on the course during weekday.
Golf course in the good shape- tee boxes and fairways.
Greens are still a little sandy but ones you found your speed, there is not much issue.
“Somewhat” negative. Bunkers needs more sand. Don’t we always expect nice and fluffy sand at the Florida’s courses, which not always a case here? My advice here- play you sand shot like pitching- sand layer is very thin.
This next comment not to the course itself but to the golfers and golf ethics.
I am really fast golfer and played as single. Was no one at front until I got behind 4some on #14. And they decided to pretend that I am not there and didn’t let me play through. Go play!
The greens!
Front 9 was closed so it was back 9 and pines ,,the greens are great shape for the weather going on right now,,but there was so much debris on the greens jeez leaves ,sticks, pebbles ,all sorts of stuff ,,it seems it would have taken an hour or so to broom the greens ,,I’m guessing they have a kubota or something to broom the greens…you could not roll a true putt ,,sorry if it’s nit picking,,but it was every green ,,,the pines greens were great….
Great place to golf
Play here all the time. Generally is a bit beat up end of June… but only briefly. It gets used a lot like most S Florida courses in the winter. The staff quickly gets it back in shape with no loss of quality
Great bang for the buck
The course layout, staff, and conditions were all top notch. There are few courses in South Florida at this price range that compare. The only downsides were page of play (took almost 5 hours to finish the round due to traffic ahead all the way through) and the lack of a legitimate driving range. But still a great value.
Enjoyed Woodmont
Our group plays a lot of SE FLA golf courses. Woodmont is a fav. Course is in good shape with greens running very well. Beer is cold and food served hot!
