Pines at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

the rain cancel
the rain cancel mi tee times is cancel and loss mi money the pro shop not close the course
Nice course
Good test with good fast and true greens. Most of the course is in good shape with 18 being the most noticeable problem with sand and rock rough cart path. 18 has a poor temp tee off blocks and is obviously a work in progress
Overall good value for money. Layout very good. Not long but long enough for the average golfer. Don’t need driver much. Worth the money. Hit it straight and get the speed right on the greens and you will have a nice experience.
Hidden Gem
Cypress course challenging but fair. Hit them fairways.
Fast greens
Great layout, very good conditions, super fast greens and always an above average staff 💥💥💥💥💥
This is my go to course
When I am looking for a last minute course to go to, Woodmont is where I like to play. Its a bit out of my way, but they always accomodate me when I want to play. If Cypress is busy, just go to their Pines course across the street. It is a gem and barely played. The greens were awesome. I will definitley recommend to play here if you get the chance.
Still good
Compared to the last time I played here about a month ago, I see the green conditions deteriorate with some patches of weeds. However, the greens still run true and fast. I hope the management team does not turn this course into a mediocre one.
Cypress is nice, Pines is crap
Cypress is a nice course with lots of water. Well maintained. Pines on the other hand is in bad shape and urgently needs remodeling
Woodmont Country Club
This place use to have 2 courses and like most courses in south Florida they sold their soul for profits. They now only have one 18 hole course and an additional 9 holes. We played 9 holes of the 18 hole course and then finished on the nine hole course. Both courses were in good shape. However our GPS didn’t work on the nine hole course. I’m sure due to several changes. I have found that when these courses sell of some of there property it usually starts to go down hill because the owners would usually sell all the property for big profits. I guess we will see.
