Great value, but rushed
Course was in great shape and guy working the office was great. We had a 5:54 tee time and had an extremely acceptable pace, but the course Marshall came up to us twice asking us to hurry up—ended up making us skip putting on hole 5. We felt rushed the entire time and wasn’t the best Sunday morning experience.
Nice Day, Nice Round
I've played Sydney R. Marovitz for decades. I've seen it as dry as the desert and as crowded as Lollapalooza. But it's been a relatively wet spring and early summer, and the course was in great shape. I showed up very early for my mid-day, weekday tee time as a single and got slotted in an hour early with with three very nice fellows. The pace was surprisingly brisk--in fact, a ranger told us at one point that we were AHEAD of the pace. (Go figure.) We were done in two hours, which is remarkable for that course in summer. All in all, a very low-stress afternoon of golf. I have been known to complain about Marovitz, but this time I have nothing bad to say. Well, there's the state of my game, but....
solid muni
cant beat it for the location and price, classic muni, in solid shape. played early, assume it gets super slow later in the day and on the weekends. leave the driver at home and have fun
Staff were very rude
The staff were extremely rude to me while I was here and I didn’t feel like they were doing anything to fix the terrible pace of play.
Awesome location and fun course
I thought the layout was good. Fair amount of hazards including the awesome 6th hole.

Love this course impossible to get a tee time but what can you expect in w 3 million people. Conditions were good staff is great

I have played this course before, but not this early in the season. Other than the greens being a little fuzzy, the course was in great shape for May! The staff was AWESOME!!
