Tee shot on #8 par 3 Photo submitted by tmlo on 05/05/2013
Fun times
Great day with my boys. Could of used a cart girl. Pace of play was slow but it was a holiday.
Fun times
Great day with my boys. The course played slow due the holiday. Good course for the money. No cart girls????
Good course
Overall the course is in really good shape. Tee boxes and greens looks very very good. If you are long ball hitter like me 300+ yards with driver..., this might not be the course for you. Nearly all par 4 and 5 were dog legs and to lay up its 230-270. I pulled out my drive twice in 18 holes. I played from the Blue which is 1 up from the tips and from what i saw, the tips were at most 10 yards back on most holes. I was hitting my 4 iron and 5 iron on more par 4, 5s. NO DRIVING RANGE as well. So you are stuck chipping and putting and getting no real warmup for your round. Clubhouse and restaurant are very nice, you can see they put a lot of money into. Course would be enjoyable if the tee boxes were moved back about 20-30 yards.
Great course
Great lay out not an easy course select the right tee box
Enjoyable Round
I haven’t played this course in over 10 years.
The new Clubhouse, Restaurant and Hotel are incredible. The tee boxes are recently renovated.
I was told the greens and fairways would be under construction soon. The course itself is in great conditions. Greens were slightly fast but fair. Not too many crazy breaks or levels to be concerned with. Two putts were common for our group. You can score when putting on this course. The layout is nice and a little challenging for the average golfer with a lot of doglegs. The starter and cart girl were a little rude. The pro shop staff was great. The cart guys were helpful. We had a flat tire teeing off on #3. By the green at 3 we had a replacement cart.
Will definitely play this course again soon.
Still needs more care …
Strange if not complicated bag drop. One way into a
dead end. Brings confusion and chaos
- new teeboxes, perfect
- new white sand trap. Tough to get out easily though
- fairways in poor conditions, more so on the front nine
- greens…ok but the worst we played in the last 10 games we played between Wpb and Key Biscayne
Not slow, not fast but poor condition
If you get in for 30-45$, ok. More…not worth it
More $ spent on the clubhouse than on the course
