Tee shot on #8 par 3 Photo submitted by tmlo on 05/05/2013
Good layout
Can see where this used to be a great course, good bones as they say. REALY good greens, fast! Fairways and bunkers were not in good shape, I cannot understand that, unless it’s hard to obtain proper course maintenance staff. Starter and bag guys were great. Very nice big putting green near bag drop, pro shop, #1 tee and bar/restaurant. GREAT restaurant, inside and out dining, great service (CJ).
Fairways
The tee boxes were nice, sand bunkers were fair, greens rolled nice but the fairways were lacking grass and the ground was hard. I have played here many times and always had a good round. Wish they would see a bit better.
What a joke
This course was horrendous. Every ball in the fairway is sitting is mud or dirt. Had to play lift, clean and replace (and move the ball about 15 yards) every hole. Greens were very fast and for the most part decent but hitting from awful lies in the fairways made this very difficult to enjoy. Highly recommend playing elsewhere. Cost for the round was $70 and took 4 hrs and 45 minutes to play.
Great happy hour after golf
The resto View is so good....thé course is ok for the price
magnificent course and very challenging. Your shots have to be very precise. And then the greens were extremely fast and tough to read. I am a 2 handicap on my home course and shot plus 9 here. would love to play again.
Money spent renovating will go to waste
I heard they put some money into renovating the tee boxes and adding new sand to traps. The traps were definitely much better. The tee boxes were better but they are not moving around the tees and they will be crap like before soon fro what I saw. Grass is already almost dead. The fairways and around the greens are terrible? Very tough to chip from areas with no grass. They need to do a much better job taking care of the grass. This is a dog track!
So much going on
Well I saw kids riding bikes across greens shooting air soft guns ( my green while I was putting) and they left their bike on the green. Never saw so many people using the course as their backyard or walking path. I believe I witnessed some domestic violence and while riding through the tennis court area I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be mugged, approached to buy dope, or sold ponchos and trinkets…….. but couldn’t beat the $18.99 round, lol
Age
When you’re at the age that nine holes makes you happy. It is a perfect place to enjoy.
Needs a lot of work
Not sure where to start. Pretty bad from tee box to green. Best part of the day was on hole 19. After round beverage and met a nice gentleman who worked at Otis Elevator. Other than that a bad track. Sorry just being honest.
course is very challenging. loved the layout. The greens were extremely fast. Would definitely play again.
Nice course for the money.
Greens are in good shape. The tee boxes were just redone and in excellent condition. Most sand traps have new softer sand than before. A couple of rough spots on a few fairways other than that a nice challenging course with water to contend with on many holes. New clubhouse last year. A good value for a Southern Florida course this time of year.
