Devlin and VonHagge designed this course, which challenges even experienced golfers. It has been rated by Golf Digest to be among the 50 top courses in the United States. The signature hole on the Championship Course is #12, a 452-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot through a cypress forest to an island green.
This 7,258 yards, par 71 course has narrow fairways, a deep rough as well as plenty of water and bunkers. Enjoy the fast greens and the excitement of knowing you're on one of the best.

They improuved the course;
Compare from last year it is black and white:All the green are nice nice and fast;sandtrap are rebuilt;tee Off are all new;I would say the course is much longer than last year:I am not sure about the but the yardage on score card ;Fore sure I will go back.Richard from Canada.
Nice layout
Great layout, need a bit of love.
Greens and bunkers are great.
Fairways needs grass.
Very slow
Front nine wasn’t too slow but we ended up with 5, yes 5 groups on 14. Group behind us hit into us twice!
5 Hour + Round
Total waist of money 5 + hour round of Golf i pay to play not be a spectator
Why to monw the lawn in flood
Played this course 4 times last 3 weeks. Was in good shape. Now it is very poor condition. Why the maintenance scrath the course
A Very good course
We played the Champions course after a few days of rain. The course is kind of wet but it's well-kept with only 4 cart-path holes. The course is in very good shape with a new clubhouse, new tee boxes, and white sand bunkers. The green conditions are very good except that it's kind of slow for me. The layouts are interesting with many strategic doglegs. The pace of playing is SLOW. Anyway, this is a very good course to play after its recent renovations.
Wet course
due to rain in the past days course was to wet in fairways and green are soak with water.will be better when it dry up
Prepare for 5-6 hour round
I’ve been playing colony west for over 10 years and every time I play there, no matter the time of day, year, or day of the week I have yet to play a round under 5 hours due to clueless players and no rangers helping with the pace of play. This will be the last time I ever step foot on that golf course. It’s a free for all out there and nothing has changed.
Amazing
I played this course in February 2022 and it was good then, now they did alot of renovations to the course and buildings it is amazing and in great shape and friendly staff
Love this course
Excellent Greens and Tee boxes are perfect. Great for developing players to challenge themselves. Beautiful course!
