Great course to practice your short game
Really needed the short game to work on and without a lot of slow play.Everyone played rather quickly so the whole day went at a fast pace.The price is really reasonable for 18 holes so there’s no problem there.Everyone in the clubhouse was friendly and helpful so we came back to play a second time.We will be returning for a other round soon.
Awful. Avoid if possible
Horrible condition, tee boxes being moved and hitting from Matts. Groups of up to 8 playing at a time. Golf now said nothing of the sort prior to booking
Challenging Par 3
This is a very challenging par 3 course. My wife and I really enjoyed the course, which includes some significant hazards, elevation changes, and undulating greens. The course is currently being overhauled and I can't wait to see the end result when it's all done. Hopefully, we will still be able to afford to play it as they are spending lots of $ on improvements.

Better days ahead
Several tee boxes were under repair, the greens were just plugged and sand was spread all over them and it prohibited putting. They just completed taking 50 trees and trunks and wood chips were everywhere. The course should have remained closed during all these repairs. Maybe the course will play better in 6 months.

Good for this early
One of my favorite courses. They have done a lot of work over the winter. Course still under Winter conditions but still played well. Looking forward to seeing the final results this summer.
Under Major Renovations, Still in Excellent Shape
We played late March and the course is undergoing some major renovations to tee areas and other parts of the course. The greens had just been aerated the previous week but they were still in great shape with the exception of the abundance of sand. Many tee boxes are moved up right now due to the renovations but the course still plays well from those yardages. Price is extremely reasonable for the outstanding quality of the course.
Overall great experience, can’t wait to see the finished product of the renovations.
Under construction
This course is being completely renovated . If you’re up for some rough play and 18 par 3 practice this is it. Completion by July would be interesting to see how it turns out! Very nice staffing, even the construction workers were nice. I will return to see the out come.

Alot of maintenance occurring on course.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
They are cutting down alot of trees and putting in New tees. The greens are fast and challenging.
Value course - good for the price.
Dirty. Cigarette butts everywhere. Lots of trees down. Poorly maintained. Cart path asphalt in bad shape. Other golfers leaving muddy donut tracks on the fairways. They should employ a cart path guard.
Aside from all of that, it’s a good little Muni course and it’s cheap.

I like the layout & the greens are in great shape ! They are in the process of removing lots of trees which did not interfere with our play . Tee box es haven’t grown in yet.. in a month or two it should be a 5 star course
I had a great round of golf
The golf course was on a frost delay until 10:30. I teed off at 10:30. The greens were in great condition for January. The employees in the shop were polite and professional.
Par 3 course that cares
Fun place perfect for irons and short game. Nice greens.
JUST FINE
I enjoyed the course and my round. I'll play again on my next visit to Powell!!!!
What could be
The Course is fabulous 18-hole par 3 course. Fun and challenging green complexes and variety in the holes. Scenic and full of wildlife.
Three issues: (1) the staff makes no effort to accommodate play-- the stock answer is that the golf course is full and no tee times until ..... even when the parking lot is half full and there is clearly time and space for additional golfer; (2) the pace of play at times is atrocious and "playing through" is a forgotten concept; and (3) ball marks are not repaired. Need a ranger to address pace of play and ball mark repair.
Love being out there, but hate wondering whether they will let me on.
