East at Woodlands Country Club

Played both the East and the West in less than a week. First experience on West course was great. Staff was nice and accommodating. Good course and fairly challenging. Liked it enough to decide to play East course a few days later and unfortunately did not have same experience. Staff was once again nice but on course experience was terrible. East is nowhere near the difficulty of West course. I did have an early tee time starting play at 7:15AM and that may have been my problem. Greens had just been sand topped and for whatever reason, the person doing the greens decided putting the flags back in to the holes was unnecessary. Out of 18 holes only 4 flags were in place. After 3 holes I gave up riding up to green to put flag in before my approach shots and decided to just play all shots to center of the green and hope. I will recommend the course to others but you may not want to be the first out for the day.

The t-boxes are in great condition. The fairways are firm and the greens are true. Great value for the price!

This was my 1st time to Woodlands. I heard that it was a private club, but I got a time on Golf Now. I was also told to play the West course & I wasn't disappointed. The West had excellent greens, very long 50-60 yard tees & very good fairways. With daylight savings time just started, the sun didn't come up until about 730 & that was still hard to see your tee shot & others for about 15 minutes or so. I was paired with 2 guys who had playehere before & were most helpful. I enjoyed myself & the West has quite a bit of variety. I will try to play here again & also the East if I come back here next year from NJ.

Not great but it was ok. Hate the golf carts stopping when the gps thinks your are to near to the green. Which would be fine if they marked areas properly.

I started at 1:45pm.
We walked off the 15th green at 6:15pm. Too dark to continue.
There was no one from the staff on the course to enforce the pace.

Pace of play would have been better if there had been a course Marshall.

Always enjoy this course: price is great and course is in good shape.

Very slow play and no course martials all add up to a poor day. After 3 holes taking 1 hour, [add the math...6 hour round] we stopped play and went to the clubhouse and took a raincheck , then had a very average lunch, including sandwich with stale bread.

Disappointing.

There is no bag drop area, we were the first group and there was no coffee or breakfast available until 11am. The starter was rude and they had split tees for the first two hours. I have never seen 2 hour split tees, 1.5 hours is fine but the initial groups are done well before 2 hours then have to wait. While waiting there was nothing to eat and really nowhere to wait. The course itself was a nice test, if you got in trouble you could put up a big number in a hurry trying to get out of a mess of banyan trees. Would like to go back and try the other course but wouldn't pay any money to this course due to the unfriendly, unhelpful staff.

Good experience. Management makes an effort to provide the quality golf experience.

COURSE WAS JUST O.K. GREENS WERE GOOD,BUT REST NEEDED A LOT OF WORK. COURSE DESIGN IS VERY MUNDANE. WE PLAYED AT A DISCOUNT THRU GOLF NOW AND IT WAS STILL TOO MUCH FOR THIS COURSE.

Loved the new GPS feature in the cart and the greens are rolling smooth. Course was a little soaked the morning we played but the greens had drained well

We played with little to no interruptions on a nice Florida day. The course was well kept and the greens were nice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone interested.

One of my favorite value courses in S. Florida. Always in good condition yet very affordable. The course is challenging from blue or black tees but still definitely playable for all golfers. They also just got GPS on all carts so that's a nice bonus.

The course was great, staff was great, overall great place to play. Only downfall was that there was no cart girl on site. When asked about the cart girl they said they only had 1 cart girl for 36 holes....... It's a shame cause were in Florida and way too hot to play without a drink....
