The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

Very good condition, with very interesting holes.
Very good condition. Great value. Great day. New house construction is the only downside.
Slow Play
I wanted to like this course. It’s convenient, nice layout, some interesting holes, but there is no attempt to control the pace of play—even when requested—and it gets slow. So if you are into a 5-hour round this is your place. Played multiple times over the past few years but the last two times we haven’t been able to complete the rounds because it just got too slow. Maybe it’s better if you get out real early but the midday rounds can be very slow.
Great course in great shape
Woodmont is always a solid choice to play. Very good value for the money. Tees and greens are in great shape and fairways have great lies. Always fun to play and seems like they are really trying to keep it in great shape. One knock - sand traps could be refreshed with fresh sand.

Not bad very busy but we’ll organized and staff very friendly. There is construction adjacent to the course so it was a little ruff around the edges. Good course. Will play again

The whole experience was very nice. I guess I can’t be too critical about the pace of play this time of year but we ended up playing the front line twice and actually got 18 holes in.
