The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

a pleasure..
played first 9 on cypress, then the 9 on pines ( greens fasters than on cypress, and very good conditions).
False Hopes
Read the reviews and they were all positive not sure why.....
Course was in poor condition other than the greens which were ok really only two nice holes 12 and 16. They allowed a 5 in front of us definitely not a fan won’t go back
First time playing
Visiting from RI. Thoroughly enjoyed my round with Charlie and? Lots of variability. Not sure which 9s I played but the second 9 had more water. A couple of the greens were patched but not really a factor. The staff could not have been friendlier. Tony, the cart guy was a peach. I'll bring my brother next time.
New club house!
Always fun to play this course!
Fast green, but hard, difficult to stay on.
Fairway OK.
Layout very interesting, some holes with lot of water.
New club house , new facility,... maybe thinking to be a private course?

The course is in great shape and pace of play was very good. Staff were welcoming and helpful. It was a very enjoyable round.
Great Clubhouse
The new clubhouse is great and the course is always fun to play. Highly recommend it.
Woodmont Country Club
This course was in good condition when we played it- fairways and greens are well maintained given the recent heat. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Pace of play was reasonable on front 9, slower on the back 9.
We will play here again.
Impressed with the greens which were in the best shape than I can remember. Still a few bad spots on some but if the pins are located away from these, it shouldn't be a problem. Fairways are good but the ball sits down a little.
Bunkers could be better, lots of stones. But they are working on the course, new clubhouse and all.
Will replay soon.
Great Course
Played here in a scramble on 10/27. Course was a little wet but overall great shape. Greens rolled very well.
Construction Abounds Around the Course
Had a good round. Course in average to above conditions. Reasonable deal to play. Rack rate a bit pricey comparably.
New buildings under construction.
Construction
New Clubhouse and pro shop currently under construction. The holes were changed to accommodate, so it was a bit confusing.
All in all it was a fun round. Will be back.
Fast Greens!
Hadnt played this course in a while. Greens are as good as any course in South Florida hands down. Kudos to the greens keeper!
Tee boxes need a bit of work, fairways are in okay shape. Good overall for the price we paid.

Under Construction and Still a Tough 18
Tee boxes need love. Many bare spots. Some ok.
Fairways average with some weeds and bare spots.
Rough had been cut and off line balls could be found.
Greens above average. Fast and rolled well. Few ball marks. Some bare spots but minimal.
Pines nine very tight and long. Lots of trees I seemed to find.
Cypress nine more open and shorter.
Par 3s always seemed long.
Lots of construction. Long drives between holes and confusiing layout.
