About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Good layout, liked the par threes. Good value. Good test off the back tees if you want it.
First timer at this course. I’ve been visiting this area from England for 10 years and can’t believe I’ve only just played it for the first time. I’m booked in for next Tuesday. Looking forward to it.
Crescent golf
Pace was ok but cost was high for condition of course. Courses in Florida are mostly dry but was told that they make about 70% of their money because of snow birds coming down. Then why don’t the courses turn the water on and get the course in better conditions
Pace of Play
Took over 5 hours to play. Starter let a group of 5 off 2 groups in front of us
course was a nice golf day
course was a little high in cost and we had some members cut in front of us which slowed us down. course could have started watering the course so it was green being they are charging so much for us to play. In fact, its the snow birds that are paying for it because no one plays golf in the summer so get the water going.
Friendly staff
Great place greens were small but in great shape everything from pro shop guy to cart lady was good

Our group plays here once a month and enjoys the lay out. There are a few difficult holes but rewarding for us seniors when we par them. some fairways need more grass but we will be back.
Course was full. almost 5 hours. Course in great shape for the time of the year.
Great greens (undulating)
Great course always seems to be in great shape too! Price is good compared to other courses in the area.Thanks to all the employees that make it happen at Crescent Oaks
Great course and great food
Showed up early to have lunch before the round. Burgers off the open flame grill were awesome! Course was in good condition, the greens were great and the fairways were a little dried out. Sand traps were in good shape with plenty of sand. Nice driving range and short practice area. Staff got us out right after a tournament and we finished in less than four hours. Will definitely play again.
Exceeded Expectations
I had heard some unpleasant things about the course but was very happy with Crescent Oaks. Course conditions were good. Greens were fair. Pace of play was much better than other courses we played in Tampa area.
Slow play
I had a weekday tee time on a sunny warm morning day. The round started well but soon play was very slow. We waited on the tee box as well as the fairway. The round took close to 5 hrs long. The course was in good condition but the greens were rolling a little slow.
