Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

I hadn’t played Crescent Oaks in over a year. I know that they had been sold. I saw some well needed improvements, such as new carts. Before they never had enough, and you would have to wait. I felt the course was not in as good condition as it has been in the past. The greens were not very good and the fairways were average. I don’t know that I would go back there when there are so many other courses that are in better condition for the same amount of money.

Usually a great course this time it was water logged, they should just keep it closed, we only play 4 holes it was noth a fun day.

Only problem with this course was there was a lot of standing water. Not very good o. Drainage. All in all the course was nice. Will most likely play it again.
