Orlando's Waldorf Astoria Golf Club is an outstanding 7,100-plus-yard Rees Jones and Steve Weisser design that meanders through a scenic central Florida wetland preserve; ancient cypress trees and stands of pines line the fairways. The golf course features five sets of tees to accommodate everyone from scratch golfers to high-handicap players. Waldorf Astoria Golf Club's pro shop features equipment and apparel from the top names in golf, including TaylorMade club rentals. Was really surprised with the lack of creativity in this course layout for such a high retail price. Every hole is just straight...really. I will try other resort courses in Orlando after reviewing layout. So its my bad really, I should have done a little research. Course is really boring.

Hot Deal patrons treated differently

Staff in Pro Shop were kind, starter and bag handlers treated me and others on Hot Deals like we didn’t belong. Sad to be treated rudely at a place that is supposedly special.

Could Be 5 Stars…

I actually would consider 5 stars, but there were a couple things off. First, there was no one to greet me at the bag drop immediately. The cart was in very good condition, charging outlet and GPS. The driving range was nice, free balls, but l was required to hit off the mats. I didn’t use the putting green. For the most part, from tee to green the course was in very good shape. Some wet areas, but we’ve had a lot of rain recently. The traps are deep, and there was a little puddling, but expected. Greens rolled wonderfully. I really like the yardage marked on every tee box. No cart girl, but they did provide free ice cold bottled water. I most definitely would return.

Beautiful Course

Harder than it looks. Lots of bunkers and water. Some of the holes had the other tee boxes hit in the direction of the last hole. We had someone shank it right at us. Overall great club nice facilities.
