About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Needs a lot of work
Coarse was not in very good shape. Layout was okay. But way to many bunkers that weren't needed.

To many bunkers
Layout would have been nice if it wasn't over bunkered. coarse definitely needs some maintenance work.

Course Conditions
Course was in terrible condition. The fairways had little to no grass and the tee boxes had higher grass than the rough you would play at other courses.

Good Challenging Round of Golf
A fairly challenging course with water in play in at least half of the holes.Greens were in good shape and some difficult pin placements. Tee boxes need more maintenance as some were very beat up.

Great lay out . You have to play it twice , Great challenge on ball placement . The only problem is the Fairways need a lot of work to make this a great course

Worst in the area
This course is the worst layout I’ve ever seen. If you’re gonna have traps everywhere on the course they need to be maintained . The first 2 holes are impossible for the average golfer . Nice way to start out a round with 2 big numbers. Trouble left trouble right trouble front and trouble over. Extremely tilted greens constant sidehill putts. There’s plenty of nicer courses close by . Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks, Eagles all nice. Wentworth not “Worth” anything and by the way guys grow some grass not dirt/ sand combo

Its ok
Slow very slow, but that seems to be the norm now, 5 hours rounds, lots of people out whom should be taking lessons and on the range, or just dont stay there hitting the ground until you almost hit one,
Again this is the norm now, but a 5 hours round is just brutal.
Tee boxes need some or lots of help , fairways are fair, most greens are ok.

Don’t waste your money.
Tee boxes had no grass and were badly used. Divot marks were not repaired on greens. Group in front of us were extremely slow and had no concern for the group waiting. No Marshall was present on the course to check off play. Course was overpriced for play compared to the conditions.
