About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Great Golf Course to play.

Its ok
Slow very slow, but that seems to be the norm now, 5 hours rounds, lots of people out whom should be taking lessons and on the range, or just dont stay there hitting the ground until you almost hit one,
Again this is the norm now, but a 5 hours round is just brutal.
Tee boxes need some or lots of help , fairways are fair, most greens are ok.

Don’t waste your money.
Tee boxes had no grass and were badly used. Divot marks were not repaired on greens. Group in front of us were extremely slow and had no concern for the group waiting. No Marshall was present on the course to check off play. Course was overpriced for play compared to the conditions.

Bad shape
The only thing to say nice about this is the putting greens were very quick and smooth to putt. The course really needs some upkeep. Tee boxes are dirt and sand fairways are bare with no grass really. Layout is nice with some short and some longer holes. Par 3's are nice,some water and a cool island green. Overall pretty good day.

Great improvements
Stopped playing Wentworth for a while because it was rough. Gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised with the improvements and shape the course was in. The greens, bunkers and teeboxes have received extensive work and were great to play.

Mediocre at best
No starter on a busy weekend morning cause some confusion at the first tee box. Course was in poor condition. Pace of play was slow. Nice layout of holes and A challenge to play. Not sure if I would go back due to too many other options in the area.

Needs some refurbishing
Greens were decent. Fairways were comparable to other budget courses in the area - lots or worn and sandy spots. Couple holes were backed up a couple groups deep. Lots of bunkers seemed excessively large but were maintained. All carts had torn seats. Clubhouse building exterior needs help. Rate was kind of a bargain compared to other local courses for the winter peak season.

Get a deal.
Since we first played this course, it needs some upgrades. Tee boxes are in rough shape and power carts need replacing unless you don't mind the foam poking through in several spots. Get a deal and you'll be okay. Unfortunately tried to eat at the restaurant but they were having mechanical issues.

Wentworth Golf course
I wasn’t sure what to expect before arriving at the course.
When I stepped into the Pro Shop, I was greeted by a very friendly and polite young man.
He welcomed me to the course and gave me a quick explanation of what to expect, including directions to the putting green, driving range and the first tee. He also let me know I would be joined by 3 others to fill the foursome.
Those 3 individuals were very pleasant and I enjoyed playing with them.
The course has many sand traps, narrow fairways, plenty of water hazards and challenging greens.
I definitely will be back to play again!

Challenging Course w/ a Great Finish!
We play Wentworth often - the greens are some of the best in the area w/ fairways that unfortunately are a bit dormant in areas for winter! Truly enjoy the layout and the challenge of putting the ball on some tight fairways - this makes for a tough round if you don't hit 'em straight or account for some aggressive slopes. Afterwards, we usually hit the clubhouse for dinner and a beverage - really good food at reasonable prices. Lastly, we've always been treated well by the staff and always enjoy seeing them.. Get out and play Wentworth - well worth the trip!
