About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Very cool course
First time played here. Tough layout that will mess up your scorecard without you’re best game. Greens great shape though opposite of the other courses I played on this vacation as they were slow to very slow. Some of the fairways and rough not in great shape but not like you couldn’t ever play it without moving it. If this course was in great condition it would be triple what it cost to play. Hope to take this challenging course on again.

Greens were good rest of the course bad
The greens are great however the rest of the course is a mess. Dirt everywhere.

Needs Work
Greens good. Tees terrible. Fairways fair. Sand traps need maintenance. What used to s top area course is now just a fair course in need of TLC . Ok if you just need a place to go hit balls. Looking for a really good place to enjoy a round of golf -- go somewhere else.

demanding
The bunkers were very hard and a lot of footprints left. They had not been worked in a few days. Some pin placements were in the most difficult spot on the green, not golfer friendly. Some of the water jugs were empty on a very hot day.

Not impressed.
Pro shop personel was not good. Tee boxes were not good. Practice range was bad. There were no ball washers on the front nine? There was little or no drinking water containers on the course.

Need more water dispensers / Stations on the course!
Need more water dispensers on the course they only had two on two holes and they were bone dry!
On a 90* day. I told the club person to add 2 more water stations on the course and fill them 2 times a day with Ice and water. I could not finish the last 3 holes because of dehydration. Give me my money back

Wentworth Golf Course
The rakes for bunkers on this course are installed placed on cart, a terrible idea and other golfers that play there do not know where to enter the bunkers suggest having a golf for dummies card shown on the cart I saw this on just about every freaking hole terrible idea having rakes on carts!

Slow but steady
Course condition was on par for this time of year. Greens were pretty good though. Slow pace in front is the only downside, although starter tried to put all twosomes together, some were just a bit slower than others. It's alright, cause drink prices were excellent.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course.
