About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Not great
We use to golf at course for many years, we haven’t been back for 2 years due to covid
We were extremely surprised with the condition of the course, it is in very poor shape. Even the sand bunkers were a mess.
Lots of golfers were complaining while we were golfing
We have always enjoyed the course and love the layout
Plus we were not aware that 5 players are allowed to play together.
There was no Marshall at all during the whole golfing time we were there.
We would like a credit for this course when we come back to play at end of year.
Hopefully it will be in better shape by then.

Only Saving Grace was the Greens
The greens were the only saving grace for this course. The fairways and rough was hard to determine as they reminded me of a cow pasture. The Tee boxes were poor, sand traps were not raked and were in bad shape. It was a shame that the neighborhood is so nice but the golf course is sub-par. I would not be surprised that the homeowners would not complain on a consistent basis. I now know why the greens fees on this course are always less expensive than other courses and that there are always tee times available. Not worth the price and condition. It is a shame as the course could be really nice if they put some money into it.

Wentworth Course Condition
For the price, I would not recommend this course. The tee boxes were in poor shape and the fairways weren't much better.

Tough coarse,greens were in good shape and rolled good. Tee box’s and fairways not in great shape nice layout

Needs work
Greens are in good shape. Fairways need a lot of work & grass. Several tee boxes were overgrown and using all back markers for one tee box. Not worth the $55-$60 in my opinion. It’s a great layout with challenging shots and small greens, just needs work to make it a better course in the area.

There should be someone out there checking pace of play, it got very slow due to four college guys having fun.

Perfect for a day of golf
As a duffer, I appreciated Wentworth's wide fairways, but the nice water features ate many of my golf balls. A couple of really challenging dogleg par 5s. All in all, a good day to be golfing in sunny Florida with my brother!

Great course
I love this course. The problem is they overbook it. It took 5.5 hours to finish the round. The entire time we were getting hit into as well. Not the greatest experience but we will be back.

Great layout but terrible conditions
We found the overall layout of the course to be interesting and challenging BUT the condition of the golf course is way below expectations- ok grass may not be active this time of year- no overseeding......bunkers were not even attended to at all . Management must be dismissed.

Disappointed
The layout of the course is very good- quite good but playing conditions were terrible. Rough areas...... bunkers not maintained at all. Tee grounds were awful. Too bad course could be outstanding..... but not under current management.
