Wentworth Golf Club

First time playing this course; Greens and fairways were in good shape. Would've been better if starter had paired up some singles.

Will play again :)

Was 77 degrees, partly sunny with a breeze. We played 18 holes and started at 2 pm. The course was in great shape, good greens. Pace of play was good once we skipped over a very slow foursome. Then was perfect. Ate afterwards at restaurant and shepherds pie was delicious. Waiters were masked and we enjoyed our day at Wentworth!

Had fun but a difficult course. Did well on the back nine let’s just say it’s challenging

Greens were in great shape, fairways not so much, patchy grass hard surface was a bit challenging. I love the layout of this course which is challenging and generally rewards fairway shots and puts you in jail for errands. I've had my best and worst rounds here so it's always a favorite. Prices are competitive and reasonable. Staff friendly and professional. Didn't stop in cafe today but food and drinks are excellent to finish my round. Put it on your short list for a quick round with friends.

Course is overly challenging and the clientele is not up to the challenge. Be prepared for long waits and over 4 hour rounds while everyone tries to find there golf ball. That said the course is in decent shape for winter golf.

13 index golfer, going as a single, paired up with fun but high handicappers. Played from whites, card 5,500 yards. Target golf on tight course for most holes until the backside opens up. From blues, 6300 yards, would require accuracy into small well bunkered greens with higher club selection. Dumped both sand canisters on the first couple of holes fairways. Players do not seem inclined to fill their own! Greens were good for winter. Bunker sand is awful, gray packed material that hadn't been "fluffed up" in sometime. Good sub $40 course. Wed's, burger, beer, and golf for $40 is a good deal.. Hear a new owner bought it and saw some small effort to clean up and over seed but still needs more to move up conditions.

The course is under new ownership. There are signs that the course is be renovated.. Incrementally improving.

Front nine not as in good shape as back nine. Overall challenging course. Would play again. Price is right

This was my first time ever playing this course.

The starter was kind of rude and very pushy about pushing me off 20 minutes prior to my start time as a single with multiple foursomes in front of me.

Informed me that some of the threesomes that he had on the books probably would not want an additional player to play along with them that he advised me to play by myself.

I refuse to I went ahead and hit range balls until my scheduled tee time.

thankfully another single had arrived and was looking for a playing partner.

I joined up with him which was a low-skilled player not that I mind I enjoyed the company, then we were accompanied by a twosome that was right behind us that caught up to us on the second hole.

The pizza play was extremely slow even though we had a floor song we were right on the foursomes in front of us and stayed on them the whole time but there was a long waits between each shots on every hole.

I didn't see any type of regulation with pizza play on this course and maybe only seen a Marshall roll through one time the entire time we played around.

Around last it approximately 5 hours on a Thursday.

Although the course was in decent shape the experience with the staff is why I rated this course the way that I did.

They charge $75 for my round and I think it's about a $50 course.

I almost asked for a refund due to the lack of experience in ethics on running this organization but I finished my round and went about my day.

Deposit thing about this course were the greens were in fair condition and rolling pretty well, The course layout was very challenging and some of the whole locations were very difficult to hit which I enjoyed.

Under different circumstances I would come back and play again but I have to be sure about my decisions because of my previous experience.

Played the blue tees. Very tough course. The fairways need grass but it is January. The greens are tough. Enjoyed it

We have played Wentworth several times in the past. We find it to be a very challenging course. The fairways are narrow and many slope from one side to the other. There are lots of bunkers and most of the greens are elevated. We completed our round in exactly 4hrs even though we had to wait on many holes. The course was very busy, yet still moved along well. My only disappointment was that there was a group of 6 playing 3 holes ahead of us and no Marshal l out to break them up. We had dinner on the patio after. Excellent burger

Wentworth is a great deal for the fees! Course is very challenging and numerous sand traps on the fairways and around greens. Be prepared to hit several sand shots if you play here. Greens very fast and rolling well. Highly recommended!

This place is nice, some fairways are a bit dry and some tee boxes, but not a big deal.

Some greens elevated which makes the round more fun, some par 4 you can easy reach at 236 yards, a bit longer from the tips.

Is a nice change to par 4 so you can bring your inner pro out, and put it on the green., maybe lol.

We enjoy it every time we play

This course was recently sold so it may be too early to tell BUT: tee boxes need work, fairways are in need of more grass, greens look not so great but actually putted quite true. Hope the new owner improves things.

Played this course a few months ago and thought it was ok. Saw a good deal and thought I'd give it another try. Course was in really good shape. No bad greens, fairways pretty good as well. Course is fun to play. Best deal for your money and course condition. Definitely worth playing more than once
