Escena Golf Club

Great course conditions, fast greens set against a gorgeous view. Decent pace of play considering the crowded conditions. Tee times every ten minutes were too tight inbthr challenging course. Par 3s were always backed up.

Long course but fun. Course was in fabulous shspe!!! Would definitely play it again.

Played after a frost delay but everything moved well and dinner after was very good. Conditions were very good, but there are way too many rodents on the course. One even stole a protein bar out of my wife’s satchel that was not totally zipped up. There are probably people who do not agree with removing rodents, but from experience growing up on a farm, we needed to eliminate them as much as possible to maintain a healthy environment for our farm animals. This looks like a situation out of control and I probably cannot blame Escena.

Nice layout. Very playable for all golfers. Well maintained. Very well located near airport.

Enjoyed very nice course, but right next to Palm Springs airport, so quite noisy. Also would have expected a full driving range instead of just a net to hit into. Course plays quite long for amateur golfers, esp. the back 9. Almost all greens are elevated so not easy approaches. Beautiful views and in good condition.

I love this course, it’s very well groomed, and it’s in great shape. Very friendly staff. The scenery is unbeatable!

The course was ine xcellent shape. Very fair course - well placed hazards. Would recommend this course. GPS in the cart would be a definite advantage to determine distances for hazards.

I try and play Escena every time I’m in Palm Springs. The course layout is really a lot of fun with no two holes even resembling one an other. The par threes are on the long side which might scare the distance lacking golfer. Pace of play this day was perfect, but have played a few times in the later tee times and it can be frustratingly slow. The resteraunt is absolutely beautiful, not your typical “clubhouse “ eatery at all Great menu and mid century modern design with gorgeous water features surrounding the patio. Go there even if you don’t golf. Best patio in the valley. The only one small thing is no GPS on the carts

It’s long so bring your big clubs and some of the par 3s are particularly long. But the holes are all beautiful and very welcoming. The fairways are in great shape and the greens are decent. They roll well despite some nicks from poor ball mark repairs. And they are quick! Bunkers are well maintained, particularly when you can just look at them and not hit out of them. The 19th hole offers discount beers and appetizers after 4. We didn’t eat but I saw some great plates of food go by—especially the burgers.

The planes taking off and landing add a thrill to the vistas from the course. It’s a must play course.

Liked the golf course but didn’t like the waiting time. On the par three we had three groups waiting. Quite painful.

Not sure but ivthink it was a group second in front. They were very slow
