An interesting and challenging course with varied hole design and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Very friendly and helpful staff..

Greens rolled nicely. Great condition.

This is one of my favourites in the area. Today was very windy and the long grass in the fairway after overseeding led to some ballooning shots, but the temp was pleasant and 5he greens were very good and we got around in four and half hours. I paid $45 through the Golfnow app so all is well.

Today was a windy day, however we still enjoyed the course. The pace of play was great. Overseeding was completed a short while ago but the course played well, everything was in pristine condition!

Escena was in beautiful shape on this lovely November day. The starter was friendly and knowledgeable and we took off at our appointed tee time. The course was in great shape. I love the wide fairways and beautiful landscaping. The greens were challenging but not too much so. This course does have a lot of bunkers and they can be a bugger to get out of because they’re quite deep. There is water but it’s not too hard to avoid. Clubhouse was super clean and their patio has fantastic views, sadly they stopped serving food in this day due to an event. We will go again.

Other than slow greens and fairways this is a very nice course

Good course layout, friendly & courteous staff. Excellent pace of play given that it was 90 degrees.

Course conditions were good but greens were still slow after overseeding.

Very playable course.

Would have been a perfect experience except for glacial pace of play. That said, I will definitely be back for another attempt

FIVE and A QUARTER HOURS - TOO MUCH WAITING. All 3 times I've played Escena it's been the same.

Course is in nice shape after reseed. Greens slow as expected but reasonably consistent. Nice layout; I haven’t played here for years so good to see it in very playable condition

Course was in great shape. Challenging, but fair.

The fairways were wide and the greens were elevated and undulating. It is a long course from the middle tees so quite challenging - especially the par 3's. I needed to use driver on one of them and a 3 wood on another. The greens were fast and smooth and the fairways were just beginning to be prepped for the fall over seed so we were able to get more run than normal. We always enjoy this course so asked for a replay and only had to pay $15.00. The staff were excellent. The only issue on this occasion was that the water containers were empty on many of the holes. Since we had brought our own water on the course it was fine for us but a single we joined was getting a bit over heated.

On vacation to Palm Springs and have played 6 courses in area - Escena is the best overall.

The course was about to close down on Sunday for reseeding and they were charging 25 dollars per round. The couse was in bad shape cosidering the fairways were all brown. Golf Now did not let me know and charged me 39 dollars a round and even accepted a reservation for Friday 2 days before they close at 39 dollars a round.

I was really bummed at the course conditions today. It is very apparent they are just trying to get by until overseed.

Hole number one greeted uswith windrows of dead grass down the fairway. My first thought was if hole number two was like this we were going to ask for our money back. Hit up on the green. At least 30 of the rear part of the green is just dirt.

The rest of the course was mainly dead barren spots throughout the fairways.

I was pleasently surprised most of the greens were in fair to good condition.

Really upset because this is one of my top five favorite courses to play in the valley. I had friends out from Chicago. We played Santa Rosa yesterday. It was almost in pristine conditions. They were not happy with Escena.
