Escena Golf Club

I have been looking forward to playing this course for years. I also had not played golf for a couple months so you can imagine how excited I was about playing golf on this day. I booked myself with a 3some on a golf now hot deal so I would have someone to play with. I was 15 minutes early. Hit a few putts, chips and balls. Then I went to the tee to find out one player didnt show. Then I found out they let the other 2some go out much earlier without me. So, there I was. Standing on the tee with no one to play with....and I mean no one. I picked up my clubs and left. I will never play there again. They got my 25.00 but they lost me doing it. Needless to say I will never say a positive thing about this course ever.

How can management allow anyone to go out early without all parties present? Its unprofessional, insensitive, irresposible and just plain rude. If I wanted to play alone I would not have booked myself with other players.

Highly recommend. Staff was A+! Even in middle of summer, course conditions were very good. Played course at a discount b/c the greens were punched, but we knew that going in.. Really looking forward to playing again. Also, course offered a next-day replay discount of $10 off.

Book Escena as I had enjoyed playing here in February 2018 and even though the greens had been plugged the course was certainly worth what we paid. Only complaint was that the cart we got there was only 1/2 a bottle of sand, we took sand from the bins on the tee boxes but most of them were empty. If they want the course maintained they need to provide sand

The course conditions are great right now and the water coolers always had water. I don't believe anyone in our group ever had a bad lie in the fairways. The greens are in good shape. I didn't putt well but I'm not sure I can blame the greens.

The course is in great shape and the greens roll true. Can’t ask for more than that! I played in 110-degree heat and I could tell the superintendent was ready for the heat wave by the amount of water he put on the course. And, it goes without saying, Escena has a fantastic clubhouse and restaurant!

Its June and the weather is hot, but this course is in great condition. Staff friendly and competent. After the round had an awesome hamburger and very cold beer. Doesn't get much better than that in June in the desert.

Under $40 is a great deal. Compare with over $80 in March. Pretty wide open layout. Long par 3's. Back nine way longer and more difficult than front. Plenty of shade. Lots of water. No gps on carts.

This is a course that gets it right every time. We drove out there from Rancho Cucamong, about 1:15 away but I wanted to impress family visitors from the Denver area. Being a weekday, the course wasn't busy. It's in the best shape I've ever seen it in the 10 years I've been playing there, lush and green. Their hospitality is fantastic, all the way down to the free practice areas that are included (with balls) before your round. Towels and ice chests included on the carts. The ONLY complaint I would have is no GPS provided but we carry our own anyway. Extremely well designed course with a generous amount of very cold water jugs and restrooms out there.

June rates around $35 are a great bargain. 4 hour round. Great condition. No gps on carts is only negative

Chris, checked my wife and I in at curbside bag drop, gave brief layout of grounds and practice area, this course was the best of all we played this week.

You will not be disappointed, I would rate this facility as close as upscale private you can get.

Escena is in great shape. Sure it’s hot but the course plays fast enough and there is usually a little breeze. Our summmer time favorite.

The course was in amazing condition. The staff was super friendly and treated us great! The food and drinks we're wonderful. And the views are beyond perfection! Love Escena more than any other! A must play for every golfer!;

Great time today. Played this morning at 9:30 and finished in exactly 4 hours. They were nice enough to let us come out from Silverrock in La Quinta and took care of us. The amenities were great, nice bathrooms, golf shop and bar area. They do not have a range but the net area has pyramids of balls for you to hit and it was perfect. Course was nice, but I wish the greens were faster! I had trouble putting because the greens seemed quick but were not as quick as I thought. Pace of play was great, nobody out there today since its summer and Monday. Great day overall.
