Escena Golf Club

I've played Escena two consecutive years now, and the difference each year was night and day. I had only wonderful things to say about this course last year. Unfortunately, this year is the opposite.

This is a case of price. It is the least expensive round of golf I play in the valley, unfortunately that has a negative affect on the experience.

My group gave up after just 11 holes and an almost 6 hour pace for 18 holes. It was unbearable. It is honestly the slowest round of golf I've ever been a part of in my life.

I hope they raise the price, because that will help, and because the course could easily charge $100/round and be plenty busy.

The service unfortunately took a dip as well, but it's hard to expect anything better when you're paying such low rates.

Escena is an under-rated gem in the Desert. Even the bathrooms are better than some of the best golf courses I have been in the States. They are closed to those found on the private golf courses in Asia where golf is for the riches. The restaurant patio is fantastic.

Escena is at the best on every category. Of course, if the waiters in the restaurant can be more friendly and attentive will make this golf course perfect !

We played three courses on our visit to Palm Springs. All were excellent but this one was the best. The fairways and greens were excellent and I really enjoyed the layout of the course. The par 3's were tough but fair. The fairways were generous but the length added extra challenges.

This was an excellent all around course...everything looked new and well cared for...wildlife running around everywhere...my only small complaint was taht we felt a lot of the greens were inconsistent..some fast, some slow...and the difference was marked..but i would come back in a heartbeat..one of the better courses in the area

Great course, will need to play it again. Play the right Tees, within your handicap, to really enjoy the course.

Escena has to be the hidden gem of the Palm Springs area.friendly staff, lush fairways, great greens and some of the best views in the valley at an affordable rate. The restaurant has a great menu and a fantastic patio overlooking the course and the San Jacinto mountains. A must visit while in the Coachella Valley!!

Very good course maintenance. Some of the sand traps needed more sand and greens were a little lumpy but very true. Highly recommend.

The course was a fun course to play, not too challenging but not too easy. Very lush. Out of everything from the facility that I witnessed, the only cons that I saw were 1. The greens were a bit bumpy and 2. The range was 20 feet long into a net. Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Played in a fourball and spent the whole back nine waiting on a threesome in front of us. Nice course with great scenery. The greens were quite disappointing. They were both slow and inconsistent.

The first hole is stunning. Gorgeous views of mountains. Food cart girl so helpful. After round food and setting great.

Beautiful course and facilities. 4some in front of us was behind by at least a hole for most of the time. Nothing was done to move their play along until about the 15th hole.groups piled up and enjoyment of the round diminished. The young men made little attempt to keep pace and goofed around. Other than that we loved the course and the other couple were nice who we golfed with.

We always enjoy playing Escena. Had a great time with friends for golf and a light dinner.

Very enjoyably playable course with many challenges. Love playing this track and will eventually break 80.

The wind was blowing very hard at the beginning of the round at 10:30 but settled down by the 7th hole. The course is in great shape and the greens are fast and true.

Great day weather and golf. Greens were a little rough from all markings but otherwise terrific.

Slow pace of play-teed off at 1:50 and did not finish-played 16 holes. Esena is very well designed-lots of sand traps BUT all greens had many unrepaired ball marks and most fairways were full of unrepaired divots-course conditions were not good! We enjoyed the layout but not the conditions. Sonny
