Course is in excellent shape. Mountain vista are fantastic. Staff are friendly. Only negative wasthat play was slow.

Lots of different conditions to deal with. Many tourists play this course and are not conscientious about repairing ball marks on greens and divots in fairways. On the plus side, lots of rabbits, squirrels and birds around.

Have been playing here for 5yrs. One of my favorite courses. Always in pristine condition. Course play is great.

We really enjoyed our game although my wife found the course very long for her at 5500 yards with several par 3s at over 150 yards from the forward tees. Courses should consider providing senior ladies tees. That said the course was in great shape and there are some pretty holes. Something should be done to keep the coots(?) off the 9th green. Pass of play was slow for us, at over 4.5 hours.

Used every club iny bag. Tough but fair and a whole lot of fun, as long as you choose the right tees for your game. If you visit Palm Springs, give this course a try.

great day on the course , that was our last game of the week and it was worth every penny . loved the par 5s and par 3s . long and difficult . nothing bad to say about this course .thanx alot for a great day

Course has unique personality compared to other PS layouts.
Although friendly, service in the lounge and restaurant continues to struggle.

second time for 3 of our foursome, great layout great condition, could use GPS on carts hard to find distance markers. starter very friendly and she was very nice. recomend it to all skills.

Very nice & challenging course. Typical Nicklaus course with lots of bunkers & risk/reward payoff. A little expensive.

Very nice course, can be difficult for higher handicappers. The staff was friendly and courteous. The bar and grill food was exceptional. The view from the patio is both sensational and soothing. Good times.

One of the most scenic courses in the area. Offers a good challenge if you want it but is also good for average golfer and women. Course conditions are excellent, I would have prefered slightly faster greens.

Organized an outing with 8 players of various ability levels. Everyone enjoyed the course and facility, and all wanted to come back. Great day, perfect course for our group. We played from 6600 yards and it was not too difficult for our higher handicappers.

Frost delay, but don't do as other course, no privilege for prime time, over than 1 hour delay and over than 5 hours to play our round, wait all shot

This is a great course design. Although fairways are wide, and rough is playable, Jack Nicklaus's penchant for moguls, challenging greens, and well-placed bunkers is very much in evidence. They obviously moved a lot of dirt to create this undulating course in a flat desert. Greens (large, with abundant of breaks) were unexpectedly slow, but the course was otherwise in excellent shape. We were told that this is a windy area, so check weather forecast before you choose which day to play this course; but do play it.

Fantastic views challenging and staff fantastic will be back

Unlike a lot of courses early in the season the course was in pretty good condition. The greens were on the slow side but otherwise very enjoyable.

The only thing that I didn't like was a joke of a driving range. Hitting from the mats into the net 30 yards away is a waste of time.

Nice course, great views, staff was friendly, had a sale in the pro shop, pretty good deal.

Dining area was closed for prep the Thanksgiving special dinner. We booked the 1800 hr one and paid far too much for what food that was left over.
We dine and golf at Escena many times. This was our first and hopefully only bad experience.
