Love the course. Staff excellent. Played early. 3:30 minutes. Especially love the par 5 's. All interesting. best for your $$ in area I think

The course was perfect, layout is tough but fair. Shape was perfect and pace of play was quick

The course had reopened about two weeks prior, Had grown in well. Happy with conditions andcourse layout. Only problem was slow pace of play. Wish it could have been quicker.

Everything about the course is 5 stars! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The merchandise is always fresh. And the course is challenging and fun with near perfect conditions. Highly recommend playing it!

everything was fine except the fact that there was no marshall and pace was over 4.5 hours We almost finished in the dark because of the pace.

Played Escena today for the first time and it will now be in our regular rotation. Despite just having reopened just several days ago the greens had fair speed and rolled smoothly. Fairways were fine. The Nicklaus layout is interesting but fair.

Challenged all day long. But that was my doing. Fairways and Greens in excellent shape. Only in one trap it was good. No criticism of the course.

WE had a frost delay and I thought it was handled well by the staff. Course was in great shape. Unfortunately was extremely disappointed in Restaurant as I have enjoyed it immensely in the past. Not sure how you have an Epic Fail on Oatmeal never realized you need a straw to consume. The perils of a frost delay. Booked on Golf Now and although stated my credit card would not be charge the full amount...the staff said it was charged so I also had the opportunity to become the collection agency. Small things however that is what get's you 5 stars versus 4....Great course...just don't pay for your group in advance and avoid eating at restaurant

This one is one of my desert favorites but they've had some sort of issue over the summer. There are some major areas of turf that got torched over the summer. The greens were pretty slow as well. I've been playing winter golf here for years and fully expect a good overseeing to remedy the bare areas on the fairways and around the greens.

But they seriously needed a marshall out there today. It was windy, granted, but, the group two ahead of us was a hole behind by the third hole! Then the group ahead of us...OMG!! They were two holes behind that other slow group by the 5th tee and they parked their carts next to every green. On 8 and 12 green the drove ON THE GREEN when going to the next hole.

Please folks, get a marshall on the course on a busy weekend. Every tee time was filled today. That's a lot of people out there being inconvenienced by the 8 o'clock group playing like that.

I just hope that they get that course back in shape for winter. It's such a gem to play in season.

Wanted to get a round in before the course closed on 9/29. The front nine was in excellent shape; fairways were still green and the greens were medium fast. The back nine fairways were not as good with many brown and/or bare spots; greens were the same as the front. We expected it to be much more dried out and were pleasantly surprised to find it this good for so late in the season. Enjoyed a breezy round with temps running in the middle 80’s. Staff was very welcoming, carts were in great shape and we were visited by the beverage cart 3 times out on the course.

Great course. Off season rate was very affordable, including club rental. Greens were true and in great shape.

Course is open and water doesn’t come into play too much

We played at 7:35 am

Very friendly staff who got us on our way . Course is in great shape with exception of a few fairway bald spots

Lots of water and sand traps to avoid, tee boxes and greens were in above average shape

Great card paths and water every other hole
