Course in great condition
I live locally and have played this course on couple of occasions before but last Friday, the course was in great condition. I think the rain a day before with sun splitting the skies on the day really helped. I’ll be back again 👍
Friendly helpful staff and an enjoyable challenge
First : youre standing facing a hedge dropping to a manicured fairway but dont go right or it's out of bounds for you
Second to a fairway falling sharply to the right and guarded by trees on the left
7th a par 3 : choose your weapon! Mine is a softly hit driver which on my last outing yielded a birdie
Three new holes that feel like your on a links with dipping fairways and deep bunkers
Beautiful course
Some lovely holes and tricky greens on this course. The new holes are a great addition, adds a new layer of difficult with a bit of links feel to them.

First time here and one of the nicest and best kept courses in Dublin. I’ll definitely be back
Excellent value for money
Greens in great shape, new greens not as receptive as the other but condition wise they are great. Fairways/fringes/ tee boxes very good. Great value for money

Professional staff
I had a rare day off work and decided to book a round of golf. There was a good deal on this course so I booked it. For the first time since I started using this app, the club called me to apologise that due to resent weather they were closing the course. They rang me straight away so I wouldn't have to drive. I was disappointed not to get to play but absolutely taken back that they took the time to call me. I have in the past drove over an hour to play a course only to find the gates locked.
Well Done Lucan Golf club. I hope more clubs follow your example, and looking forward to playing here soon.
Greens unplayable
The greens in Lucan where hollowtined and sanded. I think it's very unfair not to be notified of these conditions especially when going to the effort of traveling to visit a club...very disappointed and feel a bit cheated.
Very poor experience
Very poor experience playing here. Staff very unhelpful - they took a booking for an evening round (full 18, full price), without mentioning a junior tournament was was on. Course backed up for the whole evening and forced to wait over every shot - we only managed to play 8/9 holes. Emailed the clubhouse the following day and they didn't want to hear about it - very poor form
This is a moderate challenging course
The course is well maintained and has a few long (over 500 metres) holes. It has some uphill and downhills and a little bit challenge for beginners.
