Lucan Golf Club

Course was in great condition. There was sand on the greens which made reading pace difficult but other than that brilliant. Had smart anti Corona virus inserts in the holes which made it easier to get ball out of hole. Pace was very good but it was a Monday. Value was amazing but again it was a Monday hot deal.

In great shape for the time of year. Busy as expected for the time, but still moved well. Some quirky holes; I found it extremely hard to line up a ball down the par 3 road hole. Otherwise some mediocre holes, but mostly its a gentle parkland.

Even though the greens had recently been sanded course was in great shape.

Super greens, always a pleasure to play Lúcán.

Not my first time playing here but after today will be the last. I understand green keepers have a job to do but theres a way to go about it, sheer ignorance is not it. Walking up a fairway ball on the edge of green and they race over to remove the pin and start working On the green without even a remark. I had no issue skipping holes and coming back to them as was the case for the day but this tipped it over the edge. Had to leave without complaining in pro shop as I’ve never been more annoyed after a game.

Course in super condition for December. Greens and fairways superb. Pace of play was a little slow however.

Will definitely return.

This course has been in existence for over 120 years and is a stunning course to play. The first tee box elevated over the narrow road is a daunting start to a round here. The is a great variety of holes and approach angles to keep any golfer entertained. The seventh par three hole is the signature hole of the course where you shoot over a roadway to an elevated green. The clubhouse facilities are of a high standard with good friendly service in restaurant and bar.

Great course but spoiled by a me me golfing experience. All golfers should appreciate that other golfers are entitled to enjoy their game also. If you are going to be slow let the people behind you through. No excuses...and no arguments. Very poor from members who should know better. If pace of play is not addressed no body will want to play the course, no matter how good it is.

We booked only that morning - teed off at about 12. Very few other golfers there that day and we were unhurried and relaxed on our round.

The beautiful day, the condition of the course and greens made for a very enjoyable 4 hours golf.

Lucan Golf Course is a little gem. Great condition and nice mix of tough and handy holes. Will be back again. Great location too. Cosy clubhouse and facilities.

The course is in pristine condition, the greens are great and very consistent. A very well done to the ground staff!

Found this to be a lovely golf course & club. Staff and members were helpful and friendly on a busy weekday with competitions. Fast, true greens for the time of year and nice variations the holes. All I all ages for an enjoyable round of golf.

A little beaut of a track , great value for money with friendly staff the coarse was immaculate and the sun was out, I will definitely be going back
