La Cita Country Club

The course has a really neat layout and is fun to play but it’s in bad shape. It’s not the worst I’ve played but fairways with hard pan dirt and some greens where nearly half the green is hard pan dirt just doesn’t do it for me. The tee boxes are all essentially like the rough or a fairway bunker depending on which tee box you’re on, taking two club lengths back didn’t even provide relief from that. I personally think this course is extremely fun to play but the conditions dropped the rating for me.

I live in Chuluota and this course is only about 40 minutes away...easier than crossing town. As are most courses suffering through 100 degree heat, there is some wear and tear but nothing serious...some spots on the greens and sandy spots on the fairways but worth playing. There is some water to carry, lots of bunkers and some elevation changes and many long holes....would not recommend to short hitters or beginers. If you have never played it give it a go...I play there about once a month

All tee boxes were like you were hitting out of the sand. Grass was over grow throughout the course Fairway, Rough. Greens had sand spots all over. Had not been kept up for the last few months. Hope it gets better condition soon

Play time was slow due to raim prior days that kept carts on cart path.

A challenging course for all the wrong reasons. The last fun I’ve had on a golf course. Luckily I had a good playing partner to share some laughs with. It has good bones. The staff is incredibly friendly.

I play here about once a month and is worth the trip to Titusville, at least from the east side of the Orlando area. Some water to carry, slightly hilly, long holes and mounded greens make it interesting.....Greens are great but some tee boxes and fairways are in need of work. I had to play it four or five times before I enjoyed it so perhaps give it more than one chance.

Course and staff was great, only gripe was that the tee boxes were mainly dirt when I was there.

This is an older course that was once a private club, I believe. It is not in the best shape, but it is a great layout and if you want to be challenged, give this one a try. Beautiful old live Oaks. Some very tight driving holes small elevated well protected greens. This course is a handful but you gotta play the tough ones once in a while if you wanna get better.

I play here several times a year...good greens and carts...some water to carry and lots of birds though not many birdies to be had,,,,If you are in the area, certainly worth checking out...took me a few rounds to start liking the course so give it a chance...just off Hwy 50, east of I95

This course has improved some from the last time I played. The tees were not in good shape, but the fairways were decent and the greens were good (they did have some sandy spots on them as they were being fixed but it wasn't a problem and when the repair is done they will be nice)

Great course for the money! The only issue was that the tee boxes were a bit bare and sandy . Everything else was very good. A few greens under minor repair in small spots

Hey La Cita-

My wife and I fell in love with the La Cita course and vibe last year and we played 15 or more rounds there since Dec 1st.

What a Treat!

We both look forward to returning to Florida and La Cita next season.
