For Month of March, it is a great course at the right price level
I have recently played to regret several other courses due to prices they charged and the terrible condition they were in. I look at three things at course for rating it; Condition of the tee boxes, the fairways, and the greens. If all three are in good shape that’s a 4/5 star course for me. You rarely find them at this time of year at the price points you pay. So, I found it worth playing at La Cita today where all three were at either very decent or great shape. I gave it 4 stars because outside fairways, there are several rough areas with no grass whatsoever. So, if you aren’t right in the middle of fairway, you are hitting from hard, barren surface. In short, if you play decent yourself, this is a very decent course with great lay out and great conditions.

SOme holes need healing
Most of the course is in pretty good shape for this time of year. However; the first few holes on the back nine need healing. Heavy equipment has severely damage the 10th fairway and it had a temporary green the day we played. Some ruts were also noted on other holes but mostly in out of play areas.

Always a Great Time! Happy Wife...
My wife simply loves playing La Cita. The tee box differential (White to Red) often makes the scoring more Gender Fair than other area courses.
