La Cita Country Club

I have enjoyed the layout of this course but as of late, the fairways are quite sparse - needing fertilizer and water. Greens have been good and we'll tended to, but it seems like you're getting 'tights lies' everywhere on the fairways. Hope this improves with a little additional car AND some rain from Mother Nature! And the traps need to be 'fluffed up'!

La Cita always delivers the trifecta of area golf entertainment. (See Title) Also, my wife loves the White 6,000 to Red 4,600 yard differential that makes the scoring quite Gender Fair.

The tee boxes have improved on the course. Fairways and a couple of hole still need some help. It's better than the last time I played it but still needs some work.

If the greens were just top dressed the review would be a star higher.

Once the greens come around this course will be back to being pretty good.

Generally it's in very nice shape. Fun course with some challenging holes. Very friendly staff and electric carts are a plus. Pace of play was good. I often play single and get invited to join a 2 or 3some which makes play more enjoyable

Very nice course with lots of dog legs, not many straight away holes. Nice greens and fairways but the sand traps were in sad shape, no weeds but very packed sand so using a sand wedge to get out was not happening. Other than that the course is pretty good and definitely worth the money to play.. Pro shop person was very helpful and did a great job getting us under way.

First time golfing at La Cita on a Sunday was quite glorious! While the pace was a bit slower, we moved along and had a fine round.

Fairways, tee boxes and greens all in great condition considering it’s been dry for months. Would play here again anytime!

Sure the rough and some greens need work but the layout is interesting and most putts were on true green surfaces. The carts were electric so no noisy motors, the ball washers were full and the tee boxes were maintained. Full value for the green fees. Thanks

the layout was very good as youd expect from a lee travino course.not the best condition but after a florida summer and $29 no major complaints.if it was in perfect condition it would be a $60 a round course,and i wouldnt play it so much.

Really neat courses very challenging but fun..Having the breeze coming off the river all day is so nice..the new bulkhead on 11 looks awesome nice job guys...I look forward to my next round there..

I have recently played to regret several other courses due to prices they charged and the terrible condition they were in. I look at three things at course for rating it; Condition of the tee boxes, the fairways, and the greens. If all three are in good shape that’s a 4/5 star course for me. You rarely find them at this time of year at the price points you pay. So, I found it worth playing at La Cita today where all three were at either very decent or great shape. I gave it 4 stars because outside fairways, there are several rough areas with no grass whatsoever. So, if you aren’t right in the middle of fairway, you are hitting from hard, barren surface. In short, if you play decent yourself, this is a very decent course with great lay out and great conditions.

La Cita CC offers a nice course for very cheap. Go to golf course if you aren't looking to break the bank
