Hi
I liked it this is my fourth time going but my 2 uncles first time they loved it and want to go again
Good place to Play for the money
I enjoyed this course. The price was right. The pace of play was good. The electric carts are really fast.
It's ok course and short.
Pretty short. I didn't bother to check the total score for the par play but it's 65-68. Lots of par 3s. Pretty easy. Hard to lose balls. I had 7 straight pars in back 9 which never happens to me. Well I hit better than the other times but still pretty easy.
66 dollars including cart is pretty expensive for the quality of course. Granted Sunday morning when things are more costly than usual.
Nice course but SLOW pace
I would give this course 4 stars if it didn't take 4.5 hours to play it (it's an executive course so 18 holes should not take nearly that long). I had a tee time and the pro shop let a twosome just jump right in between me and the group in front of me. Was slow all around. Course is in pretty good shape from tee box to green. There doesn't seem to be a dress code enforced if that bothers you. Would recommend as long as there's not a major backup.
Great for the price
Best value in Los Angeles. Booked golf now, played all 18 holes no problem! Great day all around, except I didn't win........
Awesome greens well kept
this course is fun ,hard and peaceful.
started playing around 12 30 we reached the 5th hole then it stared raining we were able to finish the front 9 .my friends and I had fun. we wis he'd we could have finished the back 9. o well my be next time. it's a fun course.
Great executive layout
Probably the best executive course in the region with great continuity. Water features come into play on several holes. Greens were in great shape, fairways a little beat up but with the summer heat I would expect it. Got a hot deal price through golfnow that could not be beat
Course Conditions
The course was in good shape except for the bunkers and the greens,Golfer's need to take a few seconds and repair there divot mark's on the greens by doing this it keeps the greens in great shape for the group that is behind you and the raking of the bunkers SIMPLE. I hate to hit a shot into the bunker at any time but it does happen and when it does the last thing I want to happen is to end up in someone's shoe print. This is not addressed to the Golfer's but to the weekend warrior's who think when they hit a nice shot onto the green that everyone else wants to see how close that they got to the pin by not repairing the divot. This is a game of honesty and respect so please treat your course in the same respect
music blares from clubhouse
In one of the most ridiculous things I've seen (heard) on a golf course, there are speakers on the side of the clubhouse which project music out towards the course. CONTRARY to the staff's ARGUMENTS otherwise, the music can be heard on the first tee, while walking up the first fairway, and on the approach and on the green of the 18th hole. Silly stuff, and it unfortunately confirms this course's relatively low-life reputation, which we all had hoped would have been behind us in the past by now, but apparently not.
Excellent Course
Great value, fun course. One of my favorite courses overall. Great price, staff and value overall!
Fun course for kids, women, family, and those who need get in a quick round
This is a great course to work on your irons and short game. It will take about 3 hours to walk the entire course, and it's a pretty good work out. I used to live less than a mile from El Cariso, so I played here hundreds of times in a span of 12 years. So, I think I know the course fairly well! This is a great course to introduce golf to youngsters. Women would enjoy this course as well. A young family would find El Carios fun and relaxing (unlike those buys courses dominated by driver-wielding weekend hackers. Many par 3's are challening: #3, #9, and #13 are 190+ yards. Some par 4's have rather narrow landing areas: #2, #12, and #14. There are only a handful of "legitimate" par 4, and no par 5's, but again, that's what makes this course suitable for kids, women, family, and those who want to play a quick round and exercise. Dont' be surprised to get +15 or more on your score card: you need some skills to get a low score if you play form the tips.
Same As Always
Great Service, and course always in very good shape. Staff top notch and friendly
rainy saturday
Because of the rain, the course was empty. We had a great time. This is a fun place to play.
A day of golf
I recently went out to play some golf I haven't played for 3 months ,and my feeling of urgency to play was exciting .We got there and the staff were very nice and since it was slow he allowed us to start before our tee time. The field of play was a lIttle slow but that's going to happen when there are slow players. The Marshall told us to stay on the course due to some rattle snakes in the hillside so no looking for balls lost in grass. The course was nice and the greens good. So my game ended very well for not hitting any tee times , it was fun.
Slooow
Like El Cariso and can't beat the Golf now hot T times! However, it gets way too crowded in the afternoons. Was going for 18 and stopped at 9 because it was so slow. Wish they had better scheduling or a marshal to track the pace of play.
Great day for golf
Course is in good shape as we move toward spring. Greens are kept well. Great way to spend an afternoon. Staff is always inviting. Come out & enjoy your day.
