My wife and I have played Glen Lakes about a dozen times.

After checking for recent aerofication to avoid bumpy greens; we played last Friday (May 25).

We were surprised at the green condition.

Greens were slow and bumpy.

The grass did not seem to be "filled in".

For such a great layout the poor green quality was a letdown.

My wife and I look forward to playing Glen Lakes.

It is a challenging layout with different designs for each hole,

If we lived in the area we would definitely consider joining.

Decent course and conditions, had the place to ourselves, an hour plus drive was the only downside.

Booked the round as a single for 8am Saturday morning. Starter was very nice and sent me out at 715. Played through 18 in 2 hours. The front nice is fairly simple and easy. The back nine is much more exciting with ups and downs. The greens are excellent and easy to read. Thank you Glen Lakes team.

I traveled from Ohio to visit my family and I love the course as a whole, but the staff is terrible. Due to us not being members we are treated as lower tier individuals and only because the members and staff don't want us to be able to play. We arrived 5 minutes before our tee time ready to tee off and we were told we would of had to wait for 7 groups to tee off before us. We complained and almost got a refund but they let us go off back and told us we had to rush and be back asap if we wanted to finish. I won't be returning.

Played here a few weeks ago and the greens and common area were in much better shape. At least unplayable areas were marked. Greens were bumpy and sparse. Guess its time for aeration. Granted, we have not had rain for weeks..As far as I know, we are not under any water restrictions. So to be fair, it's a problem with what few courses are left in this area. After they announce aeration is completed, I would go back. It's still a great track and the people are nice inside and out.

Course is in ok shape, layout is nothing special. No rangers or cart beverages. Not an almost five star course or worth upwards of $80. I’d maybe pay $30?

The members only sign by the bag drop didn’t make us feel very welcome.

This course is very good the layout interesting conditions were very good overall. Fast greens and the fairways and bunkers were just fine as well. I know that this is shoulder season quite dry and over seed is dying off but this course is very well taken care of. We did not use any off course amenities but everything was clean neat and overall a great experience.

Greens top dressed with sand and will be aerated soon but winter nothing grows unfortunately the best conditions are in late spring summer fall but difficult to hit irons off tight lies but then again I could be up north shivering looking out my window waiting for nice weather to come overall a good day ☮️

Enjoyed the round at this nice layout with enough difficulty to keep your attention. Greens had break and elevation changes so that every green needs to be studied over closely. Starter was very friendly. Check in went smoothly and club house staff professional and courtestous. Thankful for the experience and opportunity. Clubhouse was lively and beverages cold.
