GlenLakes Country Club

I have a youtube channel (Shankers golf) and I do course reviews. I just learned of this course a few weeks ago. I finally got out there yesterday and played and was impressed. The greens were perfect, tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. Everyone I met on staff were friendly and helpful. My attached video was from Hole 13.

Compared to other 5* courses I have played, this one is close but not quite there. The layout is good but not a complete variety of challenges. Course maintenance is great but a lot of sparce grass areas. Forest Glen is Naples is my standard for a 5* Florida course. Consistency in grass throughout the course, no weeds ANYWHERE. I enjoyed the round at Glen Lakes. The people were friendly and professional. I'll definitely be back.

Great condition and good layout.

This was the first time playing this course. Got there early had a great lunch at the bar with my server Jes. Then proceeded to to the pro shop as Glen gave me all the in and outs of the course. I hope I can play there again a few more times and bring my spouse.

Very hot day! First time playing this course. The staff was very welcoming and offered advise on a few of the holes.. Played 18 as a twosome which was nice. We thought the course was well laid out. Challenging green complexes but fair. Putted well Surprised the course was as dry as it was for the middle of July. The back nine is the more difficult. Will definitely play again when in the area. Highly recommended

This golf course is beautiful. Greens were fast and in perfect conditions. Fairways and sand traps were in great shape. Definitely worth playing again.

Course is in great shape, from tee to green. Greens roll true. Bunkers are fluffy and well maintained. Rough is cut nicely and playable. The layout makes for a challenging but enjoyable experience; plenty of holes are there for the taking.

Given the condition and aesthetics of the course, Glen Lakes is a GREAT value for your money! If you haven’t played it, you should.

Course in excellent shape. Greens, fairways, and tees all green and thick. Traps are loose sand, not hard pack. Early afternoon round played in 3 hrs.

This historically private course now allows some public play. It is a great value and the course is in good condition. The staff treat you like a member and the members are very friendly.

Played here Thursday and it was great,greens were smooth and fast,fairways were really nice some were a little dry but they haven’t had any rain but they were still good overall great time would definitely recommend this course.

Course in good condition. Pace of play good, although they expect round to be 3:40... Thats a bit fast by my standards. Staff good. No cart person did not use amenities. Overall recommend

2nd Time playing this course in the last year. It is hands down one of the most well-maintained courses in Central Florida. Also one of the best values for anytime under $50, only a few tee times available and usually in the $65 range but worth putting on your radar if you are within an hour drive or so from Weeki Wachee!
