GlenLakes Country Club

From tee box to Green, it was in the best condition of any of the other courses I play in Citrus and Hernando Counties.

We are never disappointed with Glen Lakes, either in pace of play, conditions, or facilities. They are all very friendly and treat you like members. The course was in great shape and we look forward to next time.

Greens and tees are in excellent condition. Fairways are mixed, but generally green. Layout is challenging, fun to play. Staff are terrific, and hole19 is awesome. Pace was good at 3.75 hrs.

Friendly staff. Greens in very good shape. T boxes pretty good, rest of course was fine but dry (understandable with no rain lately). Pace of play excellent, 18 holes in less than 4 hours. No cart girl on a very hot day.

Always a challenge.

Like a lot of courses in the area suffering from a lack of rain.

Fairways were thin in a lot of areas.

Greens were fast and smooth.

Will wait until summer rains resume before we play it again.

From the minute we arrived, we felt welcome, especially by Andrew in the pro shop. The starter had us wait for 30 minutes for another 2 ball to turn up who were ahead of us, but we made good use of the practice green while we waited. The course was in great shape and play was fast, due to slow bookings. We are playing again next week and looking forward to it.

Was first time playing the course so I booked a tee time where I wouldn't be a single. Starter than rushed me out 20 minutes early when I was hitting balls, I thought he was putting me with a twosome but they indicated they didn't want to play with anyone else. Turns out they put out two twosomes behind me and I got stuck behind a foursome. When I asked the twosome if they wanted to join me they said they were in no rush so they didn't want to. I feel the starter could have done a better job of putting out groups when looking at tee sheet.

Course itself was in good shape.

The course was in excellent condition. The course played very fair from the white tees. I am a twelve handicap, and I shot an eighty one. The par threes are long. A lot of the holes play left to right or right to left. Finest course in Hernando county. I paid eighty two dollars to play. I would be much happier if I paid about fifty. I don't remember seeing a cart girl either. But I will definitely play there again!!

Best conditioned of over 20 courses I played in Florida this winter. Staff were exceptional in their attention to us. Will definitely add it our annual playlist.

Green contours are too severe to accommodate pin positions.
