What Can I Say? It was very good !!!!!
At 1st I thought we were in big trouble. The parking lot was packed with carts running around everywhere. Fortunately these people are very well organized and we got out right away. The tee times were set up where we only had a couple groups in front of us and 1 way behind. The conditions on the course were excellent except I thought the greens were fairly slow. I can tell the course is very well maintained. I would give 5 stars except I always compare other courses to World Woods which is really in a whole different league. We will go back again and the staff were super friendly. I can tell this seems like a family atmosphere. Great job folks !!!!!!

Great course
Water hazard were mostly dry but that’s a good thing for me. First trip was tough but then second trip was more relaxing and I had a better understanding of the course and speed. Great place!
Very nice
Took some guests to Southport and they were very impressed with the conditions. Not the most difficult course we played, but nevertheless very nice. Seemed a little slow with a single in front and a twosome in back, but not a dealbreaker.
Worth the drive!
Having never played there before, we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. Nice green fairways and greens---tee boxes, too. It was a long drive from St. Petersburg and back... but we'll probably do it again. :-)

Nice course but unfriendly staff
The course was nice, but the unfriendly staff took away from enjoying our day. We tried to get a couple drinks and the pro shop staff member was smoking a cigarette and not coming. I finally went outside to ask him to help us. He reluctantly came inside. Then as we were leaving he sternly said, "make sure you have your cart in by 5:45." Then he came around two more times and the other pro shop staff member came out to the course one time to tell us he closes at 6:00 and we need to have the carts in by 5:45. There was plenty of light for us to finish, but he was watching us, so we had to leave hole 18 before finishing return our cart. There were other customers also complaining about this. as we were packing up our clubs.
