About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

I was not able to play the round of golf because I had an emergency. I tried to call GolfNow for a refund and they said you had to do it online. I went online multiple times and the site was down and I was not able to have my money refunded. Very bad experience with GolfNow and I don’t think I’ll ever use it again !
Slow day good golf.
The course is in pretty decent shape except some greens have some grass wild grass growing on them. There are mowed over and present just a little consternation. Right now the greens have been aerated and they are a little bumpy just enough to affect many of your putts. It would have been nice to have been pre-warned about the aerating of the greens. Hey scheduling problem occurred on Monday with a group coming in with more golfers than expected which delayed tee times by 30 minutes or so and cause the round to last much longer than normal.
Course was in great shape
Have played this course many times and it has never let me down.
Great value
I’ve never played the course before and it was Father’s Day so I didn’t think I could get a tee time. The course was in great shape, the greens were a little fuzzy and had just been punched. Can’t wait to go back. And the entire staff was extremely nice and helpful!
Upgrade cart paths and just upgrade greens. Still a decent course. Just got new carts when I went so that was nice to see them slowly upgrade
Good short course
Recent rains have made a Silverado a very nice place to play. Greens are great a little bit slow but will hold shots. Most fairways are are excellent but there are a few bald spots in some fairways. You will enjoy your round of golf at Silverado.
Fine for the price
The condition of this course is average, the greens are below par at the moment. The cart paths require mantenance and further paths added.
For the low price I paid, I would however play it again.
Good Job
The course did a good job fixing up the fairways and the greens. Played two rounds because the conditions were so good and the pace of play was so good. Recommend you try it out with some friends and have fun.
Decent but could be better
Service was great. Course is ok. Greens are spotty at best. Some slow, most chewed up or weeds everywhere. A couple rolled ok. Fairways are decent. Funky kind of layout. We had fun and would play again knowing what we know. Suggestion, change the layout of 18, what an odd non-rewarding finishing hole. Remove the pond that’s clearly in the landing zone. Remove some of the trees overhanging on the right and add a fairway bunker to the left. Would be more appealing to the eye and would speed up play tremendously. Short par 4, then a 3 and this finishing hole backs everything up. Just saying.
Front 9 open
Finally all 18 holes are open. I did expect the front to be in better condition after being closed so long. But I guess I’m glad it didn’t get turned into houses.
