About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Nice course
The course was in real nice condition.
I would give 5 stars on all if there were paved cart
paths instead of dirt, very dusty.
Awesome Course
This was the first time I've played Silverado and I was pleasantly surprised. The greens were a bit slow but putted true. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. I will definitely be back.
Slow Play
Play very slow group ahead of us had Two and sometimes Three hole open with no ranger to get them going 5 hour !
Good round
Recent rains have made Silverado a wonderful place to play right now. Greens are in great shape and most of the fairways are fairly lush but there are a few bald spots. You will enjoy your round here. It's not too difficult of a course if you're hitting the ball straight. Have fun
Best Deal in Town
For $30 it will be very difficult to find a better deal around. The greens were in great shape, most of the fairways were solid even after some heavy rain. Tee boxes were ok. Staff was awesome and the beer was $15 for 6. Course layout was great for all levels of play. Highly recommend
Silverado
Have enjoyed being back at “The Old Homestead”. just a comfortable feeling. Not a lot of hoopla there nice and laid back….Course in great condition…..Greens are a bit slow but run true…..Price is definitely right

Had not played it i over a year and this is the 3rd time I have been there in the last week. Great workier there, great pace of play and while the greens are slow they are true. Will definitely be back.....

I had not played Silverado in well over a year and it was obvious they did a great job of getting it ready to reopen all 18. The greens while they were a bit slow they were clean, clean, clean….Only one hole was cart path only and the fairways were very golfer friendly….Will be going back again this week to play it again…..
Ranger/Starter Concern
Great course and conditions are improving. Only negative, Rangers/Starter won’t join 2somes during busy times. Ranger sent out 4 consecutive twosomes; could've made two foursomes and kept pace reasonable… I understand under current reality wrt Covid and social distancing, forcing strangers into one cart is not reasonable, but sending out two twosomes is golf reality if you want to keep pace of play to 4hrs…
This course needs a lot of attention
Course was very busy but even as a foursome we had to wait on each hole. The cart paths were bumpy as no work was done to improve them while part of the course was closed. The greens were fine but the fairways were in very rough shape. Very disappointed overall
The guy was mad we used golf now and got a hot deal for 12$ 9 hole. Said GolfNow isn’t supposed to be doing thay and is ripping them off
