Silverado Golf & Country Club
About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Come one, come all
It is July in Florida, you only want to play in the morning or evening but we decided 10 would be alright. Well apparently everyone else in town also wanted to play this weekend. All times open all day so figured it wouldn’t be to busy. I was wrong. Starter let the 10:30 out before our 10:07 because they were there. We were in front of him by 10. Not a big deal usually. The course was packed and it was the slowest round of golf I have ever played in my life. Almost 5 hours.
Enjoyable golf
The course is in an excellent shape. You would enjoy your round there I'm sure. It's not very long but there are some challenging holes. Have fun you will you will enjoy it.
Over book the course
I know it’s busy, I know it’s Fl. But having 8 carts at the tee at 930am was only the start to a long and extremely hot day. First off they don’t offer a hot dog and drink like it says. Go figure in todays day. 2. The course was way over booked.8 carts that’s 16 people to tee off at 9:30am. No scramble or tournament. Only saw the ranger but one time. I would beware of any economy golf courses. That’s what it is economy.
GREAT CONDITION
ALWAYS LOVE THIS COURSE,BRAND NEW GOLF CARTS...AWESOME
Nice
Silverado is one my favorite courses. Well kept, staff is always friendly and professional! Always a joy to play here!
Greens aerated two weeks ago are mostly back with a few exceptions. Otherwise fairways and bunkers are good. Rough is much like a pasture. People are nice.
Good value.
Course is a little short and is being crowed by addition housing being built around the course.
Could use better conditions on the fairways, but very few courses seem to plant new grass seed in this area ?
Greens had recently been aerated and were quite slow.
Fun course in good condition and then
Silverado is in good condition after a remodel my only complaint would be the layout of getting from hole to hole some of them were very difficult to follow
Always a good value
Nice, friendly course. Multiple tees to accommodate any skill level. We will be back again
