About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Beautiful layout. Enjoyable round. Only negative was that the greens were a little slow and people are not repairing their ball marks. Two short par 4s will temp long hitters, but may turn an easy birdie into a bogie.
Beautiful greens
The greens were very very nice. I have played many courses down here since October and one of the nicest looking greens. Played with two nice gentleman who I just met. Will definitely play it again soon.
Great layout.... greens were nice but a tad slower
Overall, had a great time
Very good course in nice shape. Very wet but held up nicely after the storm. Greens are very good. . will be back.
Nice course
This course if fun to play. My hats off to the Superintendent for having the greens in such beautiful shape. They were smooth and rolled true however they weren't as fast as they looked. But they were very nice just the same. Some of the cart paths could use some attention. I don't mind cinder or limestone or even dirt cart paths but a lot of these were pretty bumpy so you had to take your time going over the rough patches. Other than that we had a great time overall. FYI they will ask for an additional fee if you want your own cart so you can social distance. I have a problem paying an extra fee for not wanting to ride with someone that I don't live with. Especially since we're under a county wide social distancing mandate. However their fee was lower than most courses that do this and it was for each 2some and not per person so if your playing partner will split it with you then its not so bad. Even if they don't it's worth the added safety and we play faster with separate carts as well. I would recommend giving this course a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Good condition
The greens are in perfect condition BUT very slow. Overall condition is very good for winter in FL. They have a starter & pair folks up to keep play moving.
They make you share carts or pay
Be aware - they charge you an additional $8 to ride in your own cart and may force you to share with a stranger due to cart shortages. Course is a decent layout and was in good shape except the greens were crazy slow.
Fun golf
A fun round of golf with two golfers that were paired with us. Sunny nice day. It was quite slow as many were coming out to hold after last weeks cold weather.
Great Golf
This course is in great condition and it has a great staff. I will continue to play this course as it’s very challenging and I appreciate a challenging course.
Best course in the hills
Played here many times. Always fun and a great value. We will be back soon and often
