About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Very nice course
Silverado is an hidden gem that should be experience by all serious golfers.
Concerned for course
Fairways are bare in many places. I have played this course many times . I am deeply concerned about the direction this course is going.New owners need to decide which direction they want to go before it is too late.
Best I've ever seen
The greens are fantastic. Hey golfers, fix your ball mark and one other. Course is really looking the best I've seen in the last 5 years.
Extra fee for single cart rental
With everyone trying to deal with the virus, this golf course is charging $8 extra if you want your own cart. Other courses I have golfed at either have a barrier between people on carts or allow you to ride by yourself for NO additional fee. I went with my spouse, so this did not affect me. However I will not go back due to this policy. Very disappointed in this golf club’s policy.
Greens where in good condition.
It’s a fun course to play. I try to play here once a week.
Surprised
We were surprised to see a 5some playing two groups in front of us. The 2some in front of us asked a couple of times if they could play through and were denied. The course was wide open in front of the 5some. Surprised the starter would let them go out on the course on a busy Sunday..
