About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Course tee boxes have improved along with the fairways. The greens are in bad shape. There are a lot of crabgrass on all the greens which interrupt putting to the hole. Prices should be reduced until the greens are repaired.
Nice course
It’s a well maintained golf course and for the price I paid $28 I was more then pleased with the greens. Kudos to the staff with the upkeep.
Sliverado
Course is OK. Made sure we could have individual carts because of Covid. Said yes with extra charge. Got there to play and they would not give us individual carts even if we payed extra. They said they have dividers on each cart for Covid. Went to the starter to get the cart. No dividers on carts. Have not arrived yet. Done playing here!
Average course
Play extremely slow a few nice holes layout is very poor greens nice but inconsistent if you do not know the course hard to navigate between holes. Would not recommend
Fun Course
This is a fun course to play. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in very good condition. The staff is quite friendly. Great value for the money.

Greens perfect . Fairways too short with some bare areas.. No putting green a minus.More sand needed in traps.
Fun course
This is an open course layout. The greens were in excellent condition. And do were the tee boxes and fairways. Underestimating this course may lead to mental errors resulting in bogey or higher.
Furry Greens; Mismanaged carts & tee times
Greens were long and slow. Back up on Sunday 2/21: teed off 1-1/4 hrs after my schedule/booked tee time. Gas carts, no gps or usb. Rough or non-existent cart paths. Overhead power lines in play. The layout, appearance, conditions and overall ambiance of the rest of the course are about a 3 out of 10. I would not recommend, and will not be back. All of the personnel working there were very nice and as accommodating as possible.
