About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

The course is in good shape. If they would put some grass seed down the course would be rated better. There are areas that are green but the grass has no texture. Other than that the course is good.
Great value but
This course is a fair course for all levels of players. Not all holes need a driver off the tee box. The big downfall of the course is that they took out the putting green to build a big event center that never gets used. They did not put in another putting green so that is a big hindrance to getting ready to play a round. Most golfers like to get their stroke feeling relative to the greens they are playing that day. Learning the green pace on the course can add many strokes to your game before you get the pace down.
Overall though, I love this course and the Staff there is top notch.

No water
I enjoy playing the course. But there is not any water on the course. No cart girls nothing. This is very bad with the heat index the way it is. I sure hope nobody has health problems. The course should make sure the golfers have water to obtain.

Great value
Really awesome value for the course you get. Course layout was nice with a few over water par 3’s. Staff was friendly and laid back when checking in. For 30$ this is probably the best value in the area, course was very well maintained. Few spots on a couple greens that they are repairing but because of pin locations it doesn’t effect play much. A lot of singles and clubhouse doesn’t care if you end up playing as a group if you catch up. Will definitely be back! Only bad experience was the cart I had could hardly make it up some of the small hills! Will be back for sure!
Nice change
The new ownership is getting this course back into excellent condition. I’ve watched the improvements over the last few months. Keep it up. This course’s challenges change constantly.

What a treat to play this course. It is much improved, pace was good and staff was very friendly.

One of my favorite courses, very fun course and I’ve always found it to be in very good shape, kudos to the super and the maintenance team. The staff are always friendly and helpful I highly recommend Silverado. Pace of play was a little slow today but was not a great problem, still a very enjoyable round.
