too slow
there is no marshal to monitoring the pace of play, the group before us are slow and have no intention to speed up even though ahead of them there is no other flights. It took 2.5 hrs+ to finish the front 9
Diamond in the ruff
I've played uncountable rounds through GN and i have never written a reviews, but for this course I will. This is a recent renovated course and has the potential to be a great track. I love the layout and the challenges the course provide no matter what Tee box you play. The Big problem is the Fairways and around the greens they are bad, but I must say that I think if they put in the care they can be much better. The greens were good, surprisingly good. All in all the course is a 3. With that being said, I will not pay $60 again to play golf there and they shouldn't be charging that much considering the overall conditions of the course.
Greens
Course plays well. Pace of play was excellent. Greens are tough but what makes them tougher is the fact golfers do not fix their divots. Greens need some work.
Worst pace ever
Took three hours for front 9. Nothing to say about staff because I only saw the person at check in and no one else around. No marshal, starter, etc.
Pretty ridiculous to do this.
Double booking
I booked a foursome tee time for May 9th at 7 AM, when our group arrived 20 minutes earlier, they told us that we were gonna play on a tournament group with eight players for whole, which it means that he took about seven hours to play all 18 holes. I asked the person in charge in the clubhouse. Why if I booked five days in advance nobody had the decency of give me a call and explain so I could decide if I wanted to play in this conditions he said to me that I was lucky that I was able to book a teatime on their golf course.. I will never return to these golf course even that it’s a great course. That is disrespectful to the customer..
Goat track galore
What happened to DB?!? Played first time in almost a year and it was terrible. 7AM start time and still logged in a 6 hour round. Fairway, first cut, rough, fringe didn’t matter where your ball will end up in a patch of dirt. Dead grass/dirt patches literally everywhere. Greens super slow. Maybe the worse golf course in LA now. Not sure why people try so hard to play here.
surprise scramlbe
I was not put off too much but others were quite irate about being booked in a scramble format without prior notice
